Background:
Once an inventor he sought nothing more than knowledge then to use that knowledge to further humanity to even greater heights. A simple goal, but one hard to follow. He contributed to several breakthroughs lost through time with the Dark Age of Technology. Eventually he found himself feeling limited by those around him. Only by thinking of them as additional tools could he stand the disruption their prescence brought. However eventually he found it difficult to find new secrets to persue, new machines and tools to create and most importantly time. During his later years eccentricity hit its peak and he began to look into the occult; as to a less advanced race superior technology appeared as magic.

As a lone old man without a single living distraction he began to hear whispers; promises of more time and of more secrets to pursue. The whisper grew louder day by day, every now and then pointing him towards the next big discovery. Until one day the whisper revealed itself and its intention to him in a dream. On his deathbed, it seemed it would be the final truth he could bring to light. The Daemon simply made him an offer instead; to live in his youth until the end of time so as to pursue every secret the universe had to hold. The condition being that each would be told to Tzeentch. Shocked and slightly in disbelief he accepted the offer. The Daemon cackled and showed him the first secret, a brief glimpse of his death.

He awoke the next day to find himself young again surrounded by the ruins of the lab he once called home; as if he had slept for a millennia. This wouldn't be the last time as the Daemon had been somewhat literal with its offer; he would live to see the end of time by slipping randomly through it. Then to ensure he would always have a secret to chase, not only would he randomly skip through time; he would forget a bit of his past as well. This started with his name, then family and then childhood friends; he would retain any knowledge he had gathered, but the way to it would be forgotten.

Distraught, he had attempted to take his life several times. Only to find himself watching his past self commit suicide every time. A paradox that only fuels his curiosity further.
