A while back I was looking at some Confrontation Wolfen and they just looked so beautiful. It struck me that they would make great Warpwolves for Hordes.

So, I looked over the various figures from Rackham, ordered what seemed to be the most compatible models. I chose Varghar and a Wolfen Predator with chains, and then ordered two boxed sets for Circle of Orboros to secure the two basic Warpwolves.

Here are the two models used how they originally look:

They would, naturally, need spines added. So off they went to assembly. I think some of the models are a bit disproportionate, but overall the assembly guys did a great job fusing the two types of models, keeping enough elements to identify them with Orboros while creating unique units.

I think the Confrontation elements of straps, belts, and jewelry really accentuates the once-human nature of the Warpwolves.

PS- Please bear in mind that these figures are painted to a wargamer standard for a wargamer price, and they aren’t the “personal best” of the artist.
