Holy carp! Those are awesome! Whose miniature line are those? They look too accurate to be Battlefronts... Some very nicely detailed Americans and excellently painted to boot. I want to see more!

Nicely scaled figs and great paint jobs. Are those miniatures or from some model company?

well painted and more relistic looking than the gaurd range. They seem like a good scale for gaurd compared to the marine.

Revell is the manufacturer. http://www.squadron.com/ItemDetails.asp?item=RG2503 I really love the scale and detail work they've done with the models they produce. BUT, and it's a big one, they're made from a really soft plastic. So any small tiny pieces, ie those tiny guns..., are all bendable, so painting them for use on the table top is almost an effort in futility. I just happened to want to paint them for the hell of it one day. If you don't plan on ever touching your models, like for a diorama, then these would work great. And thanks for the kind words on the paint all ^_^.

Oh, 25mm soldiers. *phew* I'd bought my first FoW minis just hours before I saw your post and was worried I'd made a huge mistake with the manufacturer. I mean, Battlefront's painting doesn't do their sculpts justice but after seeing what Oddzial Osmy can do in 1:600 scale I know they can do better: Still impresssed but now relieved. And apparently still blind as a bat's nuts. =P

Oh yeah. Many, many strange eons ago when I first started painting miniatures I picked up some 1/72 US Army vs. Viet Cong set. It's one thing I don't get about 1/72 figures, they are all of that very, very soft plastic and, as you mentioned, they don't hold paint very well... :s
Plus I should have noticed they were a bit larger than the Battlefront, Old Glory & QC stuff I have in 15mm, but I was too impressed by the paint jobs! Good looking stuff.

very nice work. I agree w/ beef about the size of guardsmen vs. the marine. It would be very realistic.
