Mikal pants long and hard, Marius no doubt waits for him to come at him again. Visibly, the words roll off of Mikal as if they were nothing but water, but internally, each word is as ruinous as a battleship's barrage. Mikal fought through his former friend's insults and temptations. It was the hardest thing he had ever done in his life, to listen to his best friend call him a fool, to denounce his heritage, to tell him he was going to die...

Mikal slowly inverted the sword's grip and plunged its blade into the snow. If Marius was at all taken aback by this he did not show it. Slowly, Mikal's trembling hands came up to his helmet and unclasped it. The helmet came away in Mikal's hand and dropped to the snow from slack fingers. Mikal gestured with both his arms as if to show Marius that he stood there for the mighty dreadnought to see him...

Marius saw Mikal and gazed upon his bare face. He was surprised to see that it was not anger that was plastered across Mikal's face but anguish. In that moment Mikal's youth was displayed as tears poured down his face and he sobbed. Marius could see him fro what he truly was, a child, compared to himself anyway, Mikal was indeed a child, who had just experience his father figure abandon him.

"You are right about that Marius..." Mikal whispered on the frigid wind. "I am a fool, a worthless idiot, I wasn't born on Fenris, I'll never be worthy to be a Space Wolf, in those things you are correct..."

Mikal bowed his head and his tears began to stream down and patter on the virgin snow...Seconds pass and Mikal's hands come down to his sides. A moment of silence passes between both of them, it is as if time itself has stopped, and suddenly Mikal stirs, at first it seems like he is stifling a cough but then it slowly erupts into laughter and his bitter tears of anguish turn to that of joy as he raises his head in a childish smile.

"You said it yourself, Marius, you don't want to kill me, of course you don't. Why else would you have come down here from the safety of your ship and make yourself vulnerable. Your mind may be corrupted by the lies of the ruinous powers, but it still functions the same way it always has. You see Marius, no matter who you are or what you are, your mind will always do what it wants no matter how you justify it."

Mikal takes a few steps toward Marius, unarmed, his palm out in welcome.

"Why else would you be back here on the slopes of your home world, why else would you be here in front of me? Why else would you not kill me where I stand right now? Face it Marius! You may not know it, your mind may tell you otherwise..."

Mikal takes another few steps forward, that childish look of innocence still on his face.

"But I can see it in you, I can feel the conflict not matter how small, how subconscious, you seek redemption Marius..."

And in an instant, the childish innocence was gone and was replaced by a diamond hard core of resolve, Mikal was a thunderbolt of action but not even he could hope to get close to Marius for anything more than a split second, Mikal smiled, it was all he needed...

Mikal's body was once again knocked away by the warp powered Marius, lying on his back, Mikal could see Marius approaching to finish him but grinned as the shadow fell across him and he saw the three bundled psyk out grenades he had taken from the chapter's armory still firmly attached to Marius's armor.

"Be free of your taint, its what you want...." Mikal said as his anti psyker bomb went off.

Tyranics world dissolved into a few seconds, he would have to do something about those bombs, indeed he accessed the warp and slowed down time enough for a shield to be erected, a hasty Shield but a shield nonetheless.

Unfortunatley it did nothing to the power of the weapon which tore Tyranics mind asunder. And what was left...

Tyranics hand comes down over Mikal and lifts him up. All of sudden Mikal realises something He just killed the last shred of humanity that Tyranic had, with the blast of that bomb, Tyranics powers were gone. Yes, but his god could find a way to bring those back, but what noone could bring back now was Tyranics humanity. All that was left of him now was a desire to kill. To feel the blood of this wolf rushing over his tentacles... the pleasure.

Tyranic brought his fingers up, those tentacled fingers which then wrapped around Mikals face, tearing small shreds of skinnand hair of of him until it was a bloody mess. Tyranic knew that Mikal would not die, the astartes in him was already clotting the blood.

But mikals screams were bliss... bliss tainted with dissapointment. Not in the astartes held in his massive armoured fist but in himself. The words Mikal had spoken had reached deep inside him and humanity or not Tyranic was struggling with the same emotions Horus must have struggled with al thouse millenia ago. Here was his only friend, and Tyranic was about to kill him.

His tentacles burrowed deeper and began to tear Mikals teeth out, his tongue followed.

And then all of a sudden something was wrong. A stabbing pain that he shouldnt have been feeling was coming from the back of his mind. Slowly parts of his mentality shut down. Piece by piece his mental walls were crumbling and the after shock of the Psyker bomb was affecting him. Tyranic had just enough time to flick Mikals screaming body away from him before it could do anymore harm. Before he sank to his knees. His god was not happy, not with this failure. Tyranic was mad, utterly insane. His hands wrapped around the sword laying on the ground and he pulled it up, looking at it slowly he walked over to one of his dreadnoughts, still battling away. And drove it into the chaos warriors sarcophagus. A Space Wolf terminator fell next. His sword plunging from neck to groin in one reverse grip stab.

Tyranic searched in the snow for Mikal but he couldnt see him anywhere. Then a sword dug into his back and there Mikal was, grinning a blood soaked grin in his Terminator armour. His toungue had been torn out but that diddnt stop the enraged Space wolf from fighting and indeed uttering a gutteral war cry as he twisted Marius' old sword.

Tyranic reached behind him and tryed to grab Mikal, but the Wily Space wolf ducked out of the way and then raised his sword blocking an over hand blow from Tyranic which grated off the blade and dug into the snow.

Mikal smashed his sword into Tyranic's knee and the dreadnought fell heavily onto his sword, leanign on it. Tyranic looks at Mikal and a shred of his former self returns as he sees Mikals grinning face and the sword descending towards the Sarcophagus.

Mikal...

Mikal sword smashes into Tyranics sarcophagus and goes straight through to the remains of Marius' head. which shatters and the dreadnought falls limp, the Tentacles burning off in the sunlight with no power to sustain them.

Tyranic... Marius... was dead.

Mikal left the sword buried deep in the dreadnought's sarcophagus and backed a few steps away, he turned, his back to the once great Marius who now lay dead, he saw around him the chaos forces in route, their will broken at the sight of their master's defeat. Mikal would have laughed but he was so disfigured he didn't have it in him to do so...

His soul had died today on that plain, he was now just a shell, call it naive, call it weakness, Mikal just didn't have the will to go on anymore. He sank to his knees and fell on his back, leaning against the side of the dreadnought with flahsfreeze still sunken into it. There he sat, staring out into the sky until one of his Wolf Guard walked up to him, his armor covered in blood.

"We have defeated them, Lord, a great victory has been won on this field today. A great traitor brought to justice." Mikal could not focus his eyes on the Wolf Guard, his eyes lifted to the heavens.

"What a victory, so much has been lost today, so much that cannot be replaced, my soul, my spirit, both lie here now, buried under the snow..." Mikal managed to spit out of his disfigured mouth.

After a few moments of silence, the Wolf Guard spoke again. "What are your orders, Lord Mikal?"

Mikal managed to focus his eyes on the face of the Wolf Guard, the man was older than him, just like every veteran of the Space wolves was. Mikal managed to shake his head.

"No, I am no Lord, I am but a shadow of what this man, this dreadnought was supposed to be, I was the next best thing, second place, my only duty was to restore my falsely held position to its former glory..." Mikal paused here, spitting out a glob of blood.

"A role I was not able to fulfill, I am a failure..."

Moments of silence passed as more Wolf Guard began to circle the fallen Wolf Lord. White snow began to fall again on the battlefield. Mikal looked up to the falling flakes sadly.

"Is that you Marius? Are you weeping from heaven's fringes?" Mikal stirred, he reached into the gash in Marius' armor and pulled something out, it was a string of Eldar soulstones that Marius had kept in his armor.

"This is my last order to you, I will not destroy them as that would render their souls to the dark gods, take these stones, have them thrown into the roaring seas so that no man will again be corrupted by the power that they give..."

As his fingers slipped on the chain of stones and the Wolf Guard grabbed hold of them, Mikal whispered to the Farseer...

"I am so sorry, Farseer, my friend, but the path you have traveled is one that is unforgivable..."

Mikal's hand falls to the snow, his figure was visibly weakening, Marius had done something to him, even though he was a space marine, His head had nearly been crushed by daemonic tentacles, some sort of poison was coursing through his veins, Mikal knew he was not long for the world...

He again looked up into the sky, unable to focus his eyes.

"You will not walk alone in the halls of the Allfather today, Marius, even now, I come to meet you there..." Mikal's eyes remained open and he breathed his last, lying still on the snow, next to his friend and mentor...

I head to the dark side and get some upgrades and take over a chaos ship. Farseer turns into a Daemon and I kill Kremlin Mikal and i have a huge scrap on the snows of fenris where both of us die

On that point reaper this arc of the "Campaign" as i like to call it, is well and truly over

That is why I always call my 40K char after my user name, so that people know I will truly feel remorse, and mourn when the char dies...

It seems the RPG has finished but since it wasn't as long as I thought I think a part 2 may be in order but first the end of Syrath and RPG.

(My char first needs to get those soulstones or at least the sorceror hers.)

Syrath and his twelve brothers stood before the enraged employers, their ghastly forms overlooking the Daemons with pure rage.

"You may leave this one...Syrath is the failure!"

The Daemons chuckled and sneered at the sight of Syrath before the Employers in their greatest fury, the first Employer spoke. Its voice a dark and evil sound that would cause mortals to go death.

"Why did he...not....survive like we...demanded!"

Syrath clenched his hands and looked up at the Employers

"Well sir there was some difficulties with the Assassin and Mikal, they removed the pureness of Marius. If he had remained pure any longer Mikal would of also become corrupt but Kremlin was foolish enough to assist him."

The Employer growled and spat

"You have failed and will be replaced trickster, their are many others to replace you Syrath"

Syrath watched in horror as he was left on Fenris with no allies or chances of reconstruction by the Employers ever again. Something snapped in his mind and he bellowed curses at the Employers as he stood in the center of the snowy plains.


Soon the Chaos fleets fled Fenris, anything that remained was wiped out and the Tau left in peace with the Space Wolves, the Assassin Lotus survived however and was rewarded by the Inquisition for averting an extremely large Daemonic incursion sensed by an Acolyte. Any remaining Chaos marines where hunted down mercilessly and the Portal over Fenris closed. But at the cost of Marius and many Space Wolves in the fight against Chaos.

The End

I've finished the RPG, It was great fun and now I wish to create another however and I hope you'll join my planned Projects.

What about Kais?

Kai stood on the bridge of his Command Ship, it was new after his first ship had been destroyed. He thought of Marius and his decent into Chaos and the growing uncertainty between the Space Wolves and Tau, the Forces of Chaos may have fled but they had left a shadow of fear and corruption behind them. He watched fearfully as one of the Tau Honor Guards aboard the bridge was bisected by a pair of glowing purple blades while the others soon where also decapitated and hacked apart by the blades of unholy fire and its wielder uncloaks. What would appear to be Syrath now is a creature of a darker grey color and dark Purple eyes which glow in the darkness steps forward and unlike Syrath posses no suit but the ragged remains of a robe.

The Farseer.

The Shas'O quickly brings up his rifle and fires rapidly but the Daemon dodges the attacks quickly with unholy precision and charges towards Shas intent on taring him limb from limb from limb.....

A new beginning

Lotus awoke in a steel chamber as a red-light began to beep and an Inqusitor strode into the chamber, he stood tall and raised his Custom Las-gun.

"I have a new mission for you Assassin, a great task it is indeed but I am sure you can deal with it."

Lotus takes the Data-file and reads it carefully and is shocked by what she reads

"as you wish sire but may i request something? i have witnessed the employers ones and they are powerfull i will need one thing and i request it. she whispers: the kiss of death and the gauntlet of ar'nash." (i thought this would be fitting as a promotion they gain acces to new weapons. the gauntlet of ar'nash is a neurogauntlet with sanctifier needles. sanctifier is anti demon. and the kiss of death is a bionic that when she "kisses" someone. the soul (or whatever is driving the thing to live) will turn into fire because of the psychic backlash.)

The Eye of Chaos

The Sequel of the Invasion of Fenris and a new beginning for our remaining characters. Here is the current info

1: It is set 28 days after the Invasion of Fenris

3: It will take up to 2 weeks for full development

Kais is grabbed by the neck and is brought to eye level with the Daemon and finds the front plate of his helm being torn off but the Daemon falls quickly as a Chaos Space Marine with a sniper appears and guns down the Daemon with a single shot, but as the figure comes into view it reveals it is no normal Chaos marine. But Hunter from the Eye of Terror.

"Hello Shas'O did you miss me?"

"I am afraid they are dead, Hunter. Marius was turned, and Mikal died killing him. I am sorry that I wasn't there to help him. Now, tell me, how did you get out of that Titan?"

OOC: Just have to ask...

"Well as the blast consumed the Titan I found that I had been pulled from its wreckage and repaired by Servitors after my energy shields protected me from most of the blast but now I am mostly machine with a heart and brain. But I do hope to seek some refuge here Tau if I may."

"Of course, anything for a good friend. Now, come, we must discuss certain... matters at hand."

Awesome now I know I have two players and I'm hoping that Marta and WARORK will join, the story will take place in a different section of the eye where the 'Employers' plan to raise a massive Army and destroy the Cadain Gate forever and begin to take control of the area around the Eye completely. They also plan to corrupt the original founding Legions and cause a second civil war which the players character may try and stop or help.
