The campaign has started, against our usual enemies, the Orks!

The first scenario saw us batteling in a space port (improvised terrain, lego bricks, books and paperwork!)

We deployed on a landing pad, and had to take over the command section of the port. The part of the army that didnt fit would arrive per deep strike, no matter the unit type. As the devestators and a squad of tactical marines stayed on the pad, the captain and another tactical squad fought to clear a free space near the command centre. Meanwhile, the assault marines charged into Orks that could move towards the command building, blocking the way for any Orks that could reach the objective. As the Chapter Master and his retinue, our own special unit of 3 captains, high sang. priest and the Chapter master, came flying in their Stormraven, the Land Raiders deep striked, massacring Orks around them. The Chapter master and his retinue charged, together with the Captain and Tactical Squad. Having claimed the command centre, the Orks fled, and we had claimed our position on the planet of Khantonion. With the drop zone secured, now was the time to liberate some outposts..
