So I looked through the new and old Eldar dex for a diagram. Trying to figure out why the Falcon turret comes with a bright lance and scatter laser. Unless the scatter laser is actually the pulse laser. I thought the pulse laser was the long prod sticking out from the bottom. Tell me what are all these things.

The basic Falcon turret is the Pulse Laser, which does look suspisciously like a Bright Lance, and a Scatter Laser, which looks like itself. The little prod on the bottom is just a cool doohicky.

The main gun is the Pulse laser which looks just like a bright lance. The other weapon on the turret can be any heavy weapon the eldar have, but I think in most pictures it's equiped with a scatter laser. The prod on the prow is most likely a sensor cluster but with xenos technology who knows.

Almost like a Bright Lance. It's about 30% bigger and the little prod/targeting thingie is on the bottom instead of the top.
The tank kit comes with a plastic Scatter Laser riding on the other side of the turret; thankfully the codex now comes with a nice picture guide to the different Eldar heavy weapons.

Ah, thank you, Mannaheim -- now that I look between my Wraithlord and Falcon, there is some difference. And here I just thought GW was doing lazy sculpting or cross-edition-model-bending.
Oh, and by doohicky I obviously meant "Psycho-attuned crystalline core sensor rod assembly for airspeed measurement and instrument calibration."
And who said 40k couldn't have technobabble?

I don't mind that the pulse laser looks like the bright lance seeing, as if you read some of the fluff, the pulse laser was based off of the bright lance design but just upped the power output for extra shots while sacrificing the 'lance' ability of the weapon.
Same basic design, like all space marine vehicles, so they look similiar.

"Suffering is Faith, Faith is Strength.
Generations have suffered with the same devotion that we can offer but once. Still, our Faith leads us through these dark times like a beacon. It will guide us to triumph over these abominations. Either by breaking them upon us like waves against a limitless, golden peak or by thrusting through them like the spear of the Immortal Emperor Himself." - Cannoness Aoife, Order of the desert rose #Yesallwomen
