The Knights of the Order are a few select space amriens, thought to number less than a company, who search for the Fallen in single squads. On locating a member of the Fallen, they either capture him, and reutrn him to the nearest chapterhouse of an Unforgiven chapter, or send for backup from an Unforgiven chapter nearby, who will immidiatly disaptch a strike force to capture the Fallen. Their existance is kept secret from everyone except the Unforgiven, from which they draw their numbers.

Does anyone know much else about them?

Althamus.

++The weak will always be led by the strong. Where the strong cry out against fate, the weak bow their heads and succumb. There are many who are weak, and many are their temptations. Despise the weak for they flock to the Daemon and the Renegade. Pity them not and scorn their crys of innocence - it is better that one hundred innocents fall before the wrath of the Emperor than one kneel before the Daemon++

Wow, never even heard of them. I don't doubt it, but where did this fluff originate?

Fanfic?

@Loki, I think Owen Rees might have been the original starter, to try and give the Unforgiven access to Deathwatch....

@Hexx, well... I did pretty much sum up a fair bit of the Unforgiven stuff, but KotO spend all their time hunting Fallen, like 24/7 if you will. DAs by necessity can only hunt part of the time, gotta be off saving the Galaxy the rest of the time y'know...

Ah, found it on the Fortress of the Unforgiven site. You are correct, they were a created by the folks at F.U. in conjunction with the B&C DA Forum as a way to give DA access to Deathwatch during a sub-campaign which ran alongside the 13th Black Crusade in 2002.

There is an online novel that chronicles the event. Included is a chapter entitled Knights of the Order. Read away!
