Warlocks are allowed to join a guardian or a wraithguard squad but the new codex doesn't say:

  1. If you must have a farseer on the field to play these warlocks.
  2. Do warlocks that join a wraithguard or guardian squad they count towards the 10 warlock squad that may accompany the farseer
  3. Do you have to have 3 warlocks joining wraithguard or guardian squads even if you only need 1-2 warlocks in your army
  4. Finaly if you don't need a farseer to field these warlocks do they count as a HQ choice. if their is not already a farseer in your army

if anyone lives near a games workshop ask the staff for me i live 2hr from the nearest games workshop and you can't e-mail them questions anymore

1) You only need a Farseer to field the warlock unit. The warlocks in guardian/jetbike/wraithguard squads are listed as additions to the unit with no such farseer restriction.

2) The warlock unit is a seperate entity from warlock upgrades and as such you may take a warlock upgrade to a guardian/jetbike/wraithguard squad without impacting the warlock unit should you choose to take one.

3) Again, the warlocks for guardian/jetbike/wraithguard squads are individuals and not affected by the warlock unit entry unit size restrictions. You'll notice that the wording says you may take a single warlock and that you reference the warlock unit entry only to know what wargear and power options that they have.

4) No. Warlocks are part of the unit that they are taken with, in no place do the rules say that they take up a seperate FoC slot.

If the codex doesn't say it's necessary, then it's not.

The Warlock in a Guardian or Wraithguard squad is a squad upgrade. They're nothing to do with the regular Warlock HQ unit, aside from having the same options.

No. As above.

No, you only have a single Warlock attached to the unit, as it says in the unit entry

No. Once again, they're a squad upgrade, nothing to do with the HQ unit.

GW staff can't give official rules answers. Neither could the people who used to answer the emails... They just go off their own knowledge of the game, which is often quite spotty.
