its for tourneys with comp-system. 1750pts of mixed DH units that hopefully complement each other well.

Notes:

- the second Russ is allowed for DH thanks to Imperial Armour volume 2.

- The idea is to field  a flexible, pseudo move and fire list: The guards are the anvil while the shooty mobile elements do the rest.

25 GK models (pure GK armies usually have 36 models so no big diff here), 40 IG models, some heavy tanks and walkers in 1750pts packing as much punch as possible.

In short the list has:

7 lascannons

1 Battle cannon

3 autocannons

1 psycannon (for turboboosters)

5 heavy bolters

so 17 heavy weapons.

11 models with mostly high strentgh power weapons (incl dread) for mopping up or countercharge.

and 25 stormbolters to thin up troops

I also included Honorofica Imperialis to give ld9 for the 35 guardsmen and 5 rough riders.

What's the comp system?

Long time that I have seen you on the forum... Do you still play DH?

Last DH army I remember you played was something like Stern+bunch of GKT, GM+bunch of GKT, some paGK and 2 minsized double psycannon GKT. Any new DH/GK army you play nowadays?

Well the comp system, is more like a subjectiv system that gives you penalties depending on what you field:

- at least 30% in troops

- quite varied choices, especially if those choices are good. GK are seen as bad so I am ok here!

- penalties for lots of best combos: like las/plas, indirect weapons, demonprinces, chaplains with ad.mantle on bike, death co... everything that is a powergamers choice!

I posted my list on the tournys forum to get it pre-scored.. and I didnt get too slaughtered by the judges..
