Books at home and I'm at work... but I was thinking about this.

The scenario I'm thinking of is

1. Does doom work against vehicles. Classically we wound people and damage vehicles, but I can't seem to recall if 4th edition states there's a difference anymore.

2. If Doom does work and a unit of harlequins attack a mutated defiler. What gets rerolled. The first part of the damage the 1/6 chance they get the 6 to rend or just the 2nd d6 on a successful rend or both parts?

I would think that if doom works against vehicles then.... you'd have the option to reroll either or both aspects of the damage roll.

thoughts?

IIRC, Doom does not work against vehicles. Even if it did, re-roll wounds does not = re-roll armor penetration.

It specifically says that doom can't be cast on vehicles.

Doom on a vehicle would be nice and rather handy, pity we cant use it thus.
