I like the zombies, but unless there'll be a lot more than 5 variants, they need to be compatible with non-zombie versions in the same uniforms, otherwise it will be too hard to mix and match to make large units of unique models.

there'll definately be more. This is probably just the start. I'm actually quite interested to see where the zombies go.

If you want more variety than PW can provide, there are dozens of other Zombie Nazi models out there. It is not exactly a rare concept.

Agreed! But it does look like only 5 variants to me, but perhaps the arms can be swapped around...

That puts them a hair under $4.25 per model, if Google's conversion is to be trusted.

Hmm I'm after 40 use as Plague Zombies, this lot will come in at around £110 for that amount.....and only five variations that I can see. I actually really like these as well, but is there any cheaper alternatives out there?

They may not be as cool looking as PW's but you have Studio Miniatures plastic german zombies

Mantic Zombies+Warlord (and possible wgf) can also make german zombies.

Yes, quite. Mantic's Z-Corp will represent plague zombies quite well at a much lower price - it is a totally different aesthetic though and it takes a bit more work (basically they give you the stuff to kitbash them). Some company has plastic zombie germans (was it WGF? can't remember) too - you might look at those - and then mix a bunch of those in for variation; these are the best on the market I think (if you're into zombie WWII Germans that is )
The mantic stuff is a totally different look. if you're looking for just something to represent your plague zombies or "something cool, anything!" give them a look; if it's undead WWII krauts you want, your choices are rather more limited

It was not necessarily WW2 I was after, I could have passed these of as Death Corp of Kreig. I was trying to avoid pitchfork wielding zombie peasants in a gun fight, my original idea can WFB zombies converted with Cadian parts but the legs are not size compatible. I will look at your suggestions, many thanks for the tips.

I would mix these, WFB and manic zombies

I really like the manic ones, got some for warmachine menoth corpses and turns out they are great

Trading ideas about alternative models sold by competitors in a company's thread is really bad form, Guys.

Oh, it comes in Mega packs?

I'm getting one!

I have to agree maybe start a different thread for that, feedback good or bad is one thing but discussing other manufacturers as alternatives is poor taste.

The zombies are cool and possibly some of the best on the market.

I can see people buying a 5 pack to add to an existing hoard but not many people will go the 30 set route. Good on you for offering the option though and a 24 euro discount to boot

How is that bad? It is feedback when you say that other manufacturers do something cheaper or more expensively. Nobody whines about this when gw's releases get compared to pp or other way around.

But what this thread really needs is:

MOAR GUNSHIPS

Every time I hear "in my opinion" or "just my opinion" makes me want to strangle a puppy. People use their opinions as a shield that other poeple can't critisize and that is bs.

If you can't defend or won't defend your opinion then that "opinion" is bs. Stop trying to tip-toe and defend what you believe in.

Nobody whines about it for GW because GW are a soulless multi-national company that squeezes us all for every last dollar.

Small shop companies are trying to make us all happy and survive. Feedback is one thing, but suggestion replacements is just rude.
