Hey Warhammer vets, With the pics of the new Black Orc Sprue, my imagination has begun to spiral out of control!  Is it possible to have a Black Orc heavy army in this new 7th edition.  I'd prefere to be more Orc heavy than gobbo and I would like to just about max out on black orcs.

Seeing the new Black Orcs, I just imagined what Ancient Sparta would have been like but doing OrK style!

So what would work, what wouldn't your thoughts/Comment are much appreciated!

Thanks Chappy P!

Well, yes. Blorcs are a special choice, so if you want to forego things like spear chukkas, boar boyz, squig hoppers and chariots, you can take up to 4 units. (In a 2000 pt game, that is.)

He's got a mind like a steel trap. By which I mean it can only hold one idea at a time;
it latches on to the first idea to come along, good or bad; and it takes strenuous effort with a crowbar to make it let go.

Is there a way to make the all orc army competetive?

Orcs are awesome in the new book. The basic ork with choppa and shield is a steal, and the Waagh special rule gives you an army-wide movement spell once per game.

The main things you miss out on if you want absolutely no gobbos are cheap war machines and fast cav, which are two other strengths of the list.

Use orc big ones as on of your core Unit, and one less unit of black orc. They have almost the same stats, and doing so will save you a slot of special for those Boarboys or the Spearchuckas.

Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaght!
