To be honest, you're right. I don't think anyone really noticed it until Stahly pointed it out (thanks, Stahly /MASSIVE SARCASM).

I'm waiting for the rage at my local shop when I purposely swap the female heads onto the "male" bodies.

The Blade Champion or Trajann Valoris will hopefully look better with the new Shield Captain's head. I can't wait till I can see if they scale well.

I think I'm genuinely disappointed with this choice. I rather like the idea that Custodes are so heavily altered that there shouldn't be this much difference. I'm glad that the differences appear to be far more subtle than with Stormcast, at least.

I think the way they are so similar that we didn't notice until now makes it acceptable for me. Stormcast are too dimorphic, to say nothing of older ranges.
