Well, I tried to play nice.... I tried to use my ogres and make everyone happy.... and then I get cheated. First game of the tournament I completely wiped out a night goblin player..... hit the first units, made them flee through the units in the back, which again made them flee, so off the table they went. Second game I played a brettonian player and forgot that I cause fear.... which meant he got all the charges. He was a nice guy, superbly painted army, and forgetting about fear was entirely my fault, no complaints there, a good game against a very nice opponent. The third game I played against an undead player... two units of skeletons, 6 units of ghouls... who was just convinced that skirmishers couldn't be marched blocked, and that they could charge out of difficult terrain without being able to see out of it. (The two inches in rule). Not only that but he was also convinced that you didn't maximize combatents in combat.... and so my two ogres got to fight his vampire lord, thrall, and skeletons. I would have been able to show him the rules that state otherwise, but a friend had borrowed my rulebook for the tourney, because he had never played before, and this joker refused to let me see his. So next time around I'm bringing my skaven, and hoping to god I get to play him again.

Bummer. And where were the tourney organizers? And what did this ungentlemanly vampire's other opponents do when he tried to pull similar stunts on them? Very un-sporting. Tea. Sympathy.

He's got a mind like a steel trap. By which I mean it can only hold one idea at a time;
it latches on to the first idea to come along, good or bad; and it takes strenuous effort with a crowbar to make it let go.

We had 18 players and 1 organizer.... needless to say he was a little busy.  Apparantly the guy had lost his first two games and just decided he wasn't going to go 0-3. He played a bretonnian friend of mind for his second game, and my friend said none of the issues came up, as there was little terrain on the table they were at, and he had nothing that was able to run up the table and march block. Don't know who he played in the first round. Any advice on the list, or is it sufficiently evil?

I don't often give advice on armies I don't personally play, or face regularly. That said, it looks like you've got enough things in your army that blow up or otherwise malfunction that I have no problems with it.
