Thought I'd post up some Ad mech pics to get some comments and critique.

Here's the Arch-Magos Militaris [Inquisitor Lord] and his retinue.

Nice work! These are some great conversions. A few things tthough:

-The ArchMagos is nice but there's WAY too much going on for that size of base - I'm not sure where he ends and his servant(s) begin! Either enlarge the base or separate the Magos and his servants.

-I'm not nuts about the Servitors using Razorback HBs. Too outsized for them. Personally I though the HBs that came with them were very nice....

- Can't make out the guy in the first row, far left of the retinue. What is that?

I do agree with you that they are a little out-sized; but I got these guys second-hand, missing their guns.

Very cool. What's the Praetorian - the giant tracked thingie?

Praetorian:

Just a bit of fun modelling, to be honest. If he gets used, it'll probably be as a Crusader henchman (power weapon and 4+inv).

Failing that, using the Nork Deddog Ogryn Bodyguard rules.

Thought I'd show you cats my troops:
First up, the servitor cell. These are WIP, though they're actually finished (bar painting). Note the electro-priest leading them. Not so happy with him – he may get converted.

Here's a detail of one of them; showing the Braun-pattern integrated lasgun.

...And here's the exciting stuff: Hypaspists! Still WIP; these guys need wires, more greenstuff and a second shoulderpad.

nice conversions, but could you make some pictures that are less blurry

this is pretty cool i like the servitor mob...nice use of lasguns.

As I mention, limitations of my camera. I'm heading over to my club this weekend, and my friend there is an amateur photographer, so I'll get him to get some better piccies.

I'm about to start a mechanicus army, what rules do you use? Is it the guard or witchhunter codex or a mix?

Also the blue fire - spot on!!! something so simple but I hadn't considered it before, defo stealing that idea

To tell you the truth, when I was first looking at the unpainted model pics, and they were kinda blurry, I was kinda hesitant, it sounded like you had a great idea, but with those pictures, to me, I didnt know if youd be able to pull it off. Though Im new to posting, I internally doubted you. AND THEN...I saw the painted model pictures and with them being much more clear and the paint job just looking great, along with the models to scale, and the creativity put in them, I must say I stand corrected, and impressed. Good job man, this army should turn some heads, if it doesnt...turn it for them.

Nice use of a wide variety of models both from 40k and Fantasy! And I particularly like how John Blanche your Arch-Magos is. =D

I love the foot troops. This makes me want to go start up something similar. This is an army to be proud of.
