i finally managed to fork out the money to buy some tau miniatures and some paints for em and this is how they came out
i have painted my 2 battlesuits and a couple of fire warriours
all painting is still wip as i need to finish up the colour and the highlights

i think they're cool what weapons do you plan to use? i have a similar color scheme on my suits & fw but i added brown to some of the plates on the leg panels & such to make it stand out a little .

so far so good. lil early to give you a solid oppinion. but i loooooove those bases! the burried marine looks rad! keep it up!

Nice, the catachan green color scheme looks great, ,and the basees are fantastic, i have a base in somewhere in my bits box that i made ages ago with a half berried and blown appart space marine that im going to use for a nurgle __ something. once i finaly finish even one of my armies, i always loose interest half way through a project then do something else

Isn't it obvious?  They use their stubby bare hands to bludgeon the enemies of the Greater Good into pulpy rubble - just look at that marine with bashed-in head on the second base!  Furious!

That said, they look like a very solid base so far, just need some highlights and such like you said.  The head lenses are also very nice in that second set of pics!
