The new Death Korps of Kreig Models have realy drawn my atention and i think i am going to slowly build a force of them along side my orks.

The one porblem i have with the guard list is the absence of avariation vehicles.

I'd like to include some Half-tracks and armoured cars but what units could these be fielded as?

Any help with this would be very apreciated.

Thanks in advance!

A new day, a new time zone.

Salamanders and Chimares would be my first suggestion.  If they're carrying heavy armament, they could stand in for a Sentinel too.

Adrift within the vortex of my imagination.

The good old Hanomag is just begging to be convetted into 40K. You only need to uptech the front, the rear half fits i perfectly.

n'oublie jamais - It appears I now have to highlight this again.

It is by tea alone I set my mind in motion. By the juice of the brew my thoughts aquire speed, my mind becomes strained, the strain becomes a warning. It is by tea alone I set my mind in motion.

I think AFV Club is doing Hanomags and M3s in 1/48? If not, check Tamiya, they should be coming out with halftracks in the not too-distant future.

Old Crow also has a near-future halftrack that scales well with 40k.

Guinness: for those who are men of the cloth and football fans, but not necessarily in that order.

I think the lesson here is the best way to enjoy GW's games is to not use any of their rules.--Crimson Devil

The Hammer

Just paint a red axe on the side, make the crew green, and field in squadrons of three - hey presto - and you've got a blitzkrieg-looking Kult of Speed. The larger one might be represented by trucks. I see Chimmies as representing more BMPs or (very crapped out) Bradleys, whereas a lot of the Ork stuff seems to be based more similarly on 1930s/40s tech level. I've seen a thread either here or at the WPS site where a guy actually used some 1/48 WWII light tanks for exactly this purpose - their outsize scale reflecting their Orky manufacture.

When soldiers think, it's called routing.
