I've always based my Tyranid army using Goblin Green spray, then dipping them and doing the fine details. I love the results but sadly, most of my army isn't finished yet and I'm just about out of my poor deceased Goblin Green spray.

Does anyone know if there is another spray out there that's the same color (or similar enough) as Goblin Green? The idea of basing over 80 gaunts by hand makes me wanna cry.

Thanks

You could try a Preval sprayer with your own custom mix.  They're about US$5 and you can get them at Home Depot.

Or use a Tower Paint custom spray can.  They'll even do color matching.  They're about US$17 a can for enamel and US$20 a can for laquer based.

I'm in the same boat with Dark Angels Green and Boltgun Metal but I don't know a good source for a ready made replacement.

Testors sells "disposable" air brush kits that you can use. Take regular paint from a pot, put it into an empty testor's jar with enough thinner to make it flow smoothly and then airbrush it all on. Not the perfect solution, but certainly feasable.
