An interesting comment that I am curious about from another forum.

Paraphrased:

"If your psychic choir manages to get a SM Commander in its area of effect, then the entire SM army tests at the reduced Ld because the army is forced to use the Commander's Ld."

I currently own neither the SM nor Tyranid codex, so I'm curious to see if this is a valid interpretation.

Nope.

"If a Space Marine Commander is on the table then all other Space Marine squads may use his Leadership for Morale, Pinning or Leadership tests, but not Psychic tests."

"Any enemy units with models within 18" of a creature with this power suffer a -1 to all Leadership tests."

Psychic Scream doesn't lower anybody's Leadership value, it just makes units suffer -1 to their test.

SM units get to use the Commander's Ld value for their tests, and then if they're within 18" of a Psychic Scream the Ld for their test is reduced by -1.

Excellent, I thought that sounded a little fishy, but I don't own the Codices to check for myself.

Thanks, Yak.

It WOULD  be a cool side effect though.... maybe not for Nids, who are very powerful already, but for another race... It's a cool concept though

The idea is that it takes extra effort and time to write properly, and they’d rather save the time. If you can still be understood, what’s the harm? While most of the time a sloppy post CAN be understood, the use of proper grammar, punctuation, and spelling is generally seen as respectable and desirable on most forums. It demonstrates an effort made to be understood, and to make your post an easy and pleasant read. By making this effort, you can often elicit more positive responses from the community, and instantly mark yourself as someone worth talking to.

Even though the cullexus is pretty much useless he does have that going for him. If only the line was that the marines MUST use the commander's leadership then we would have something!

If that were the case, the witchhunter pscyhic power that reduces an IC's Ld by -3 would be a lot more popular.
