Played through that game Lost Planet for the 360 the other day. Completely forgettable game, except for one thing... this guy: I want this in 28mm scale. I'm thinking a defiler conversion with a predator turret? It looks pretty straightfoward. Suggestions? Anyone know a better base model

Went digging through my old posts, and guess what? I've been hating on mat ward since before it was cool

seems like the best course of action, although it looks like it has tracks at the back so maybe an ork trike or watever they are

Sounds good. Use the back part of the body on the defiler to mount the tracks that way it will make it easy to remove a set of legs. To bad overall the game sucks?

That thing is chunky and simple enough that you could probably build the basic components of the legs and body from sheet styrene, or cut from blocks (not sure what the right material would be for that). The rest would be bitz stuff, trying to find the best fit for the various parts.

One turret is 3 autocannon barrels, the other is 2 Leman Russ Battle Cannon barrels. The legs are defiler legs, the turret/body has a shape akin to a sealed Landspeeder chassi, and the back treaded legs could definately be the two sides of a Rhino glued together for a thicker track appearance, maybe cut in half/shortened.
The Tesla coils-like things on the back legs could be those ammo cylinder thingies from the building accessories sprues, with trimmed down vehicle-hatch-swivel-thingies stacked on top.
That's my deduction, and I'm sticking to it :-P
