Subject: gifts of the gods?

I always thought that gifts of the gods (Example-Feel no pain) were considered Daemonic gifts, but everything I've read only says wargear. Granted, I only have a 1st printing of the Chaos Codex, so I was wondering if this was changed/stated somewhere else?

That's an old, outdated FAQ from 3rd edition, and at least one thing has been changed (Skills no longer count as wargear).
I was looking for current rules.

It still has the correct answer. Gifts of the Gods count against both your Daemonic Gift and Wargear totals.

Indeed, nothing in the 4th edition core rules would have changed that and the most recent FAQ says nothing on the subject.
The only thing that would have changed this would be one of the stealth reprints. I believe you'd need to check the 4th printing to be sure, but AFAIK the old ruling still stands.

In the 4th printing of the Chaos codex on page 14 (the armoury page), under the heading of 'Gifts of the Gods' it says:
All gifts except Psychic powers are considered Daemonic gifts.

What Yakface said. IIRC it's been like that since the 2nd printing.
