I noticed Baharroth has the Skyleap power.  Does that mean if he joins a squad of Harliequins, they can be brought into reserve and deep-strike the next turn?  Even better, a Wraithlord....

Is this for the sake of RAW arguement, or are you actually serious?

No earth shattering, thought provoking quote. I'm just someone who was introduced to 40K in the late 80's and it's become a lifelong hobby.

I'm rather sure it says that Phoneix Lords will only lead their own aspect in battle.

I thought an exarch can't join aspect warriors of a different aspect. don't Harlies count as a different aspect from Baharroth?

Also I believe Skyleap is lost when an IC joins a non-skyleap unit - it's an ability which is not conferred to the unit.

So for a bunch of reasons, I don't think so.

Harlequins aren't Aspect Warriors.

Phoenix Lords can not join any Aspect squad other than their own. They're free to join non-Aspect squads, though.

Skyleap is an Exarch ability. It's only ever the Exarch (or in this case Phoenix Lord) who has it. So by your reasoning, you would never be able to Skyleap anything other than a single Exarch, as the unit doesn't have the ability...

The reason you are actually looking for is on page 21 of the codex: Exarch Abilities only work on Exarchs, Aspect Warriors, and Autarchs.

Darn.

I guess I'll have to settle to just deep-striking an Autarch on Jetbike.  I can just see the Hawks each grabbing a side as they lift the jetbike skyward....
