I'm only a new player, having just come into the hobby about 6 months ago, and as yet i havn't played many games at all, so am both excited and nervous.
I've been told that this is a tournament for new players only, which comes as some relief, but it is still a tournament none the less.

As such, i'm a little worried that I will get my ass handed to me in a paper bag

but still, all that aside,  i'm looking forward to the 'experience' of it all, if nothing else

I'm a big fan of combat 'nids, and refreshing to see gaunts, genestealers and warriors all rushing in to kil kil kil. I think this is an admirably strong list @ 750, especially considering the tooling that enemies do to fight zilla nids, MEQs, etc. I'm guessing speeders will be your bane, and that your zoanthrope bites it early every game

I like the list. In smaller games, I prefer warriors as HQ over a tyrant. The only thing that I am leary about is the survivability of the small gaunt squad, even in smaller games. I just prefer larger squads of gaunts. Its not like with a larger list where the gaunts squads have a tendancy to be overlooked to take out MC's.

Play it, see how it works out then adjust the list as needed.

My major worry is that it seems your warriors don't have extended carapace....They'll die too easily without that upgrade. I like the list otherwise.

I didn't catch the lack of extended carapace until HFJor mentioned it. I'd say that's a must, easily worth the couple hormagaunts it would take to get it. Less to paint too
