Isn't that the Guantlet Clone on PS3?   One of my friends had it but returned it as soon as he realized that you have to start a new character everytime you enter an online game.

Dakka. You need more of it. No exceptions.

What are you talking about? They're Space Marines, which are heroic. They need to be able to do all the heroic stuff. They fight aliens and don't afraid of anything. -Orkeosarus

Vanguard is a new MMORPG from some of the EQ designers. If you like loooooooong sloooooow level progression, painful death penalties, and have a $5000+ gaming focused PC you'll love it. Maybe.

From people I have talked to that have it and reviews I have read it is an absolute bear to get to run decently. On par with ESIV: Oblivion. It is possible to run it with less, but it doesn't look as good and/or the frame rate is questionable. Everyone wants Warcraft numbers but they try to make the games compete graphically with the 360 and PS3 and that means DirectX10 card with high RAM, Vista, fast CPU, 2+ gigs of gaming RAM, and a fast HDD. Oblivion, Supreme Commander, and Vanguard all have fairly ridiculous requirements to run them and get the fullest out.

I didnt have much trouble running it, and I dont have the most expensive machine money can buy. I had to tweak around with it, but it did fairly well. I really liked the concept and the game had some great ideas, but unfortunately it just came out at a bad time for me, as I'm sick to death of the entire genre, its one of the things that drew me back into miniatures.
