Hey all, It's been a while since I've put up a report, but I've had some technical difficulties and haven't felt much like writing reports lately. Yet, I've finally made headway with a friend of mine here and we are going to try a two man map campaign using a slightly varied version of the campaign rules I've got posted on my blog. This battle represents an internecine conflict preceding the map campaign. The campaign will consist of a fight between Loyalist Guardsmen, Sisters of Battle, and Grim Reapers Space Marines against The Black Legion, Lost and the Damned and Traitor Guardsmen. I will post all the details and reports on my blog although due to the volume of games being played. I will likely post short summarys or highlights for each match rather than a full report as I have been, But there will be pictures of the board that show the ebb and flow of the campaign and each action will be catalogued for your amusement. My goal in this is to have a blast playing games, tighten up my campaign rules, and hopefully get some useful comments and suggestions about the way things are going, strategy and suggestions. Hopefully, I will be able to get everything moving quickly, have the board and the counters ready, the army lists made and the rules devised. It should be fun, but in the meantime, follow the link zombievisions.blogspot.com/

Awesome report Samwise! The fluff was excellent, and the battle was a nail-biter to the very end. Just one question: what line of models was your opponent using for his LatD army? Because it certainly wasn't GW.

He was using a mix of Citadel, Warzone, Void, and Reaper minis. He tries to buy figs from other companies because they are cheaper and he doesn't like GW's pricing and marketing attitude. The Nurgle Mutants were all Warzone undead troopers, and I thought they looked great. He also uses a lot of scale model military vehicles in his IG forces.

Yeah, the spidery Nurgle Mutants looked fantastic, as did Golgotha. Good rep, and I'm looking forward to seeing how the campaign progresses.

Great report, love the LatD non-GW models - well used in all cases.
As I commented on the blog itself, I think the LatD army list is illegal. Unless I'm wrong and the pandemic staff is not a demon weapon, then there were 2 demon weapons in the list, which is a no go. I don't remember reading that the staff did too much, so it was more or less a moot point, but still something to keep in mind.

Loved the battle report. Well-written fluff, and a clear, suspenseful battle. Thanks for posting!
