I successfully sold the Aegis defence lines and have bought some goodies with the proceeds.
After looking around for what to paint next I settled on my Chaplain.

He's been sat all boxed up in the bottom of my wargaming draw for quite some time now, and I just fancied painting a marine figure.
I think i'm correct in saying this is my first non-space crusade marine.

Decided to try out the new Minitaire range of paints from Badger. Took a little getting used to and I didn't like the ghost tints very much, but the regular paint worked well.



Also had a go at using a mask...not as easy as I thought, but I got an end result.

Bloody beautiful Hangy! :-) I mean wow that looks cool as, the reds are almost candied and those gems I could just eat they look so nice! you have outdone yourself with this model dude i am really impressed! I would love to see you do something similar with one of the new big Eldar models like the knight?

No Damo...don't tempt me...

The badger paint do have natural Candy feel to them, even the basic black or white.

Have you checked them out at all?
