ooc btw my servitors look something like this
oh yeah i upgraded my retinue, hope you don't mind dark?
and at last, is Martelius starting to act like tech-priest

BIC
Martelius walked to hanger 27 and found Vlad already waiting. Skitaari officer clad in gray armor and wearing red rode was already intimidating to nearby guardsmen even without two zombie like servitors flanking him who both wear ed the same gray armor and where armed with heavy bolter and combat shield welded into their hands

"where are the rest?" Martelius asked
"Hyspasists Horst and Garal are escorting our newest trooper here as we speak" Vlad answered in machine like voice
"new trooper?"
"yes adept, following our event with servitors, i reported it to arch-magos as written in protocol. As response he sent Praetorian to support us"
"Praetorian?"

if as response giant entered the hangar.
standing over 9 feet tall and clad in the same gray battle armor as the rest. His left hand was replaced with massive assault cannon and his in place of his right hand was heavy power claw.Flanking him were the Horst and Garal, skitaari troopers clad in same way as their commander.

"Predatorian unit #54345, call name Jurten. Reporting for combat service on space hulk Tomb Sanguinis under command of tech-priest Martelius"
Jurten said in booming metallic voice

under his hood Martelius was smiling

Alright good. My RP will be in this post shortly. I've been modeling for the past couple hours and I'm afraid the glue has gotten to my head (quite literally, I forgot to open a window...) so consider this a brief place-holder.

Marcus was on one of his daily walks along the corridors of ship he was awaiting the landings on. Today his walk had led him past; the ships vox officer where Marcus had inquired about the expected arrival of the Deathwatch contingent, "still days out" he'd been told, the hangers where he had conversed with the pilots of the Thunderbolt escort and the Avus landers and through a hanger full of troops from the imperial guard and the Adeptus Mechanicus. There had been a massive giant of metal there standing close to 9ft tall, an incredibly intimidating sight for most men but he had had dealings with the Mechanicus before as Inquisitor Felix's understudy.

On the planet of Pharix Three the mere rumor of a fragment of STC machine had brought a large force of the AdMech to the planet, literally tearing it apart to find the sacred object. This unfortunately coincided with the investigation of the planets dealings with xenos. As it turned out, the AdMech had gone and torn huge parts out of what the Xenos species known Eldar classified as a maiden world. Marcus studies had led him to the conclusion that unnecessarily provoking the eldar was never a good idea.

The lush planet soon became a battleground, thousands of humans were killed in the fight against these aliens. Once the war was over, all that remained of the planet was a barren world covered in trenches, fortifications and dead land. For what? Nothing but a rumor which turned out to be false! Marcus understood that STC's were some of the most important finds in all of human history but the way the AdMech had reacted had annoyed Marcus, that they would cause such death and undermine the authority of the inquisition for a mere rumor.

He chuckled at the memory, at least they didn't need to continue their investigations much longer...

OoC: Thought I'd add some back story to my character and set up a reason for some bitter rivalry with this.

@ Wizard - nice, but speech marks at the beginning and end of your IC posts are unnecessary.

@Mordoskul - it'll happen as soon as it happens. While I have not written anything yet, I have been thinking of ideas for the event.

So rest assured, while it won't be too big, it'll be thought-out.

Celestus stepped back from his newest sculpture. This one was of a [censored] with a [censored] on its [censored] doing [censored] next to a large [censored] in front of some other [censored] (Slaanesh is far too pleasure-minded for G-Rated boards...). It utterly failed to capture the image in his head. While the gifts given him by his most wonderful of God's were quite adept at their rending, incinerating, and stabbing objectives, they just didn't make for good sculpting tools. But what else was he to use on such a derelict rock of boredom and failure?!

This place had brought none of the riches Celestus had invisioned. Not a single sculpture of any magnificence was to be found in the entire hulk (at least not in the bits that he had personally born witness to). It was frustrating in the least!

Oh sure, the hulk had given life to some debauchery. There were a myriad of haunts to slay and creepers to rend limb-from-limb, but his hoard was getting restless. Why just the other day he had found a whole mass of cultists simply [censored] in a large clump of flesh and bodies in an antechamber not from here. What base delights they had fallen to!

No, no, there was more to be had the voice in his head had told him many a time. Pleasure and pain in equal measure were soon to come...

Your censoring makes your roleplays less interesting and more unrealistic. This is the roleplay board; you can write pretty much anything here because.. it's fiction..

Obviously, "apply common sense here" applies here.

(Okay, if you insist...... )

After the boyz had dispersed, Warklaw got his nobs together for a meeting/drunken brawl where he outlined the things to be done that day by generally throwing his weight around and bashing his boyz on the head. After that buisiness was taken care of an his boyz got the messages out, he figured he'd see what his big meks were up to.

Warklaw walked into the massive firing bay of a direlict kruzer and foung his meks buisily scrapping together and fixing up a really big cannon that had been slewed in the mouth of the giant ship before it had become part of the hulk. His mek boyz, headed by the big mek Gutkrunch, had been slowly fixing the gun in a maddened attempt to restore it to firing condition.

Warklaw walked right up to Gutkrunch who was a very large ork in his own right. When the mek saw his boss he turned to him.

"Ey dere boss! Be wit ya in a sec!"

With that, Gutkrunch bent over and pulled out a small grot who was holding onto some piece of gadgetry for dear life, Gutkrunch quickly seperated the gretchin from its prize and threw him across the chamber. Gutkrunch turned back to his boss, the little metal thing in his paw

"Wot kin I do fer ya boss?"

"Me tinks its abot time ta fire dat big gun Gutz" Warklaw said with a tusky grin.

Gutkrunch smiled and turned to yell at his mek boyz. "Zogoff ya buggerz Wez firin da gun!"

With a WAAAGH!!!! the boyz clambered away and the gun was fired, much to the glee of the boyz, all accept for the ones who were roasted alive by the backwash, the projectile, the size of a small ship itself, flew from the side of the hulk, right toward the ships that were surrounding it.....

No, but you can commence the pre-boarding commencement.

Nah, just roleplay some ships getting blown up or something. Scramble your forces, maybe. Kill a bunch of your regiment.. make your dudes get all fired up for vengeance perhaps. I dunno. Use the creativity that I, God, blessed you with.

Last year, my friend and I both got 106/150 on a test. We got a higher grade than everybody else by ONE mark. Another friend of mine managed to get 105. Boy was he annoyed.

But that teacher from last year had a policy: if you thought he had not given you a mark wrongly but it turned out he had been right in the first place he would deduct the mark from your score.

Event

The Tomb Sanguinis shuddered as a crude, but ridiculously massive cannon that was at least seventy-five Kilometres long sent a massive shell sailing through the ether towards the far away Imperial Fleet. The surprised fleet, having not been fired on until yet, were completely taken aback. The Vox was a useless mess of astounded men and women shouting. Several vessels attempted to break formation. Most succeeded. However, the Capitol ship of the fleet, a behemoth of a vessel, took the brunt of the blast on her starboard side. Her void shields overloaded and the once proud ship was wracked with firestorms and secondary explosions. Thousands died instantly. The ship, named Venator shuddered and a great sound - though silent in the void, announced the breaking of thousands of bulkheads and the tearing of ancient metal as the Venator broke clean in two. Though there wasn't much left of the two remaining pieces as they burned up and exploded until they ceased to exist. Two Sword-class Frigates were obliterated in the blast as well.

Aboard a great complex structure of indefinable nature - although it was perhaps once a vessel of the Astartes Legions - stood a giant named Karnek. He smiled his vicious smile, relishing the death that he knew had just occurred. But it was just the beginning. The savages had begun the battle, but their pea-shooter was as nothing to the arsenal of destructive weapons he had at his disposal. He turned from the view-screen, and spoke to Darul, his Lieutenant. "Prepare the Lance batteries and Nova cannons for firing! We will begin the feast by destroying their precious vessels.. and let the survivors come for us; full of delicious rage and fury. Then, much blood will be spilled. I'm sure this will please the Berserkers to no end."
"Yes, my Lord!" Darul replied.
"What is the current status of the Berserkers?"
"I believe they were slaughtering Greenskins in section Delta 9/52. That fool Iran was after that Ork Warboss, last I heard."
Karnek smiled, "there will be no stopping him then. Order him to report to me immediately when he is finished with his games - if he survives at all. That Warboss has earned a reputation aboard the Hulk. Though I am not concerned with him, that slaughterer Iran lacks any skill. He is just a madman fuelled by Khorne, and I will not be surprised if his skull finds its place upon a trophy rack."

Whilst Karnek had been ranting, Darul had been inputting orders into his Cogitator, and sure enough, the massive Lance batteries opened up - the great searing beam of energy leaving a permanent scar on the retinas of those not genhanced as Astartes such as he was. He grinned darkly within his helmet as more Imperial ships were destroyed; whereas their pitiful firepower merely detonated or dissipated upon the ancient shields protecting the Tomb Sanguinis. They would never gain entry. The Hulk was impervious to anything they might face, having ancient shields from the Dark Age of Technology that their Dark Mechanicus Priests were still only just understanding in the slightest. Darul grimaced at the thought of the soulless, mechanical beings of the Dark Mechanicum that kept the Hulk running. Still, they had their uses. Without them, there would be no controlling the Tomb Sanguinis. His thoughts were interrupted by Karnek speaking again.
"Lower a section of the shields in one of the lower sections," the Chaos Lord ordered.
"What?" Darul exclaimed.
"As I said, we let the survivors come to us. It will be good to face new opponents, to savor their flesh and their screams as we hack them down," Karnek licked his lips in anticipation.
"Very well, but don't blame me if they do not survive the lower levels - you know what dwells down there and you dare not venture."
"Silence, you impetent scum! You dare to suggest I am afraid of anything? I fear nothing!" Karnek retorted in rage, although personally he agreed with Darul. The lower levels were where the Daemons and Necrontyr dwelled, along with other beasts so vile that they were beyond understanding.

Darul did as he was ordered, and lowered a portion of the shields and opened the hanger doors of one of the vessels trapped down there to allow the Imperial forces to board. He turned in surprise as one of the view screens blipped, so as to catch his attention. Almost immediately as the shields had dropped, mutliple vessels - known as Storm Ravens - flew straight towards it. What worried him however, was the silver paint and the Inquisitorial iconography that they bore. "Grey Knights!" He hissed. Karnek turned, his armored boot scraping the metal deck. "What? Grey Knights?" Then he began to laugh, almost delusionally. "Then the Daemons will be of no trouble it seems! We will have foes worthy of facing us after all!"

Karnek stalked off to prepare his hundreds of Traitor Marine warriors, laughing in twisted joy as he did so, leaving Darul behind him. Turning back to his screens, Darul removed his helmet, spitting on the metal floor - the acid in his saliva partially melting the ancient metal - as a sign of disgust. Karnek was a fool. Power had twisted him, time aboard the Hulk had driven him insane and he had lost almost all of his tactical acumen. He had been a great warrior and commander once, however now he was just a killer, albeit far for deadly than the Berserker Iran. Knowing the opportunity that the fates had presented him, he began to make some "preparations" of his own.

After the firing of the great gun, many of the boyz were roused and shouts of orky WAAGHs echoed through the holds. At Warklaw's orders, his second in command, a Nob named Borkut, had many trukks, buggies, and looted vehicles brought up and soon, several hundred boyz filled them. Warklaw took his position in the back of his personal trukk next to Borgut.

"Well den, Borgutz, wot ar we smashin today besides da umies shipz?"

"Dem chaoz boyz is givin sum ov ower boyz a bit of a mukkin over dat way, boss."

"Dat so?"

Warklaw looked out over the horde behind him, it filled him with orky pride to see all the green faces of his boyz lookin back at him with their choppas, shootas, burnas and other killy implements clutched to them. Warklaw raised his massive powerklaw and his chain axe as his pet squig jumped aboard, wagging its stubby tail in excitement.

"Redy fer a WAAAGH!!! boyz?!?!"

The answer was given in a truly orky fashion, and making as much noise as possible as the horde went down the corridor, towards the sounds of battle.
