There isn't room for 10 marines. Have you ever looked inside? It can barely fit 10 grots inside.

The recent Dark Angels codex had Asmodai putting an entire Company under a forced vow of silence for years because he heard one of them laugh.
I admit it made me snicker....

Sasori wrote:I'm surprised no one has mentioned Trazyn the Infinite yet, his "Gift" and message to Inquisitor Valeria was pretty funny.
The quote about Imotekh pitching HIgh Marshall Helbrecht off a cliff while he was screaming was also pretty funny.
The Zahndrekh quote thinking the Orks were Necrons, is also, quite awesome.
Yeah, Necrons are pretty damn funny. Well, one of my favorite funny bits is in the rulebook, on page 234, there is a picture of a red tap dancing boba fett. It is supposed to be the emperor.
Also, its funny how they never talk about normal life.

The naivety of the Tau constantly getting them screwed over by the other races. Every time they meet some new, deranged race they're like: "Oh, who is this horrible, glaringly evil space-monster? Let's invite him in for tea and biscuits, I'm sure he's just misunderstood, and he wants to be friends." Its like they keep falling for the same incredibly obvious practical joke time after time. They have to start getting it at some point, right?
The fall of the Eldar is pretty entertaining, be careful kids, that story is only legally viewable for 18+.
The Imperial Infantryman's Uplifting Primer is just solid gold, along with pretty much any fluff about a guardsman's life in the IG, and commissars, it's all wonderfully tongue-in-cheek. While I'm on this subject, the tactical genius that is Ursarkar E. CREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEED.
I would have thought that 38,000 years later, humans would've gotten over homophobia, but I guess the Dark Angels are still afraid to come out of the closet.
All of the psy-ammunition that the GK use is really the Emperor's psychic poo, and Jokaero, and Karamazov's fluff, and all of Draigo's fluff. I guess most of that codex. But mostly the poo.
Orks. Every single thing about them, no holds barred, is absolutely hysterical. If I were to even try and list everything, I'd need 6 more posts.

This paragraph from Waaargh The Orks is great and really shows how bad it is to live in the Imperium.
"Some slaves are chained to machines, serving as their perpetual operators. Others are forced to make weapons in Ork workshops under the beady eyes of Mekboyz and Gretchin overseers. Some rise rapidly in Ork status on account of their expertise and talent. In fact, a talented alien slave can often rise to a position of respect in Ork society more quickly than a free citizen can in his own society. This is due to the fact that a talented slave is a rare commodity. Orks are quick to recognise useful skills and are easily impressed by know-how, especially technical and administrative skills. Slaves with these talents get respect and rewards they might never get at home. In fact, some slaves willingly work for their Ork masters and become trusted advisors."
It's often better to be a talented slave than a "free" citizen in the Imperium

The Tick: Everybody was a baby once, Arthur. Oh, sure, maybe not today, or even yesterday. But once. Babies, chum: tiny, dimpled, fleshy mirrors of our us-ness, that we parents hurl into the future, like leathery footballs of hope. And you've got to get a good spiral on that baby, or evil will make an interception. |

That's awesome! I like the idea of an Warboss' court being like that of a Mongol Khan, happily slaughter you but if you do well you get a nice reward.
