Just popped in to comment on that red power armoured captain/something with a yellow bolter and a powerfist, on the first page of the thread.

Awesome, simply awesome. It's like I'm looking at a cover of a Codex from the start of the 90's, has such a nice retro feel to it. Even brought memories back from those days.

Well done sir! I just finished up painting my own Blood Angels captain as well, though I'm currently working on his base to really finish him completely.

I built Captain Sendini, Keeper of the Arsenal, Commander of the 5th Battle Company, "Daemonbanes".

Thanks! Its just retributor armour > agrax earth shade wash > Retributor armour layer > liberator gold highlights.

This is sublime! Just read through from start to finish, and all the while I was equally gleeful and sad because I was having such a blast but sad that i'd eventually run out of sensual eye candy keep on trucking! Love your painting style, so sharp, clean and beautiful!

Nothing too exciting, just another 5 assault marines wrapped up to make a complete squad of ten with the first 5 guys i painted was back at the start of this thread

Heheh, in all seriousness though those assault marines look lovely. Not exciting as you say, maybe, but regardless the cleanliness and attention given to even the grunts makes them a squad worth displaying Good stuff.

I saw this thread in the showcase forum and thought "oh Blood Angels are cool, let's see what this guy's done with his". I've just been through the whole thing and may I say sir, you have an exceptional talent and have really reinforced the idea of Blood Angels being absolutely awesome.

I particularly love the librarian (I'm now 20, but back when I was 11 I started off collecting Ultramarines and have always had fondness for blue armour...) and your death company guys are beautiful.

It was a real pleasure to look through this thread, I'll certainly be checking in on this every so often. You've inspired me to get something out of a box and paint it!
