Sadly due to time limits I wont be able to get the 5 Tanith miniatures I had originally intended to submit completed.

I had hoped to do a sniper, a scout, a basic trooper, a special character and a female character. However I should still be able to get one done and submitted before I go away again on Sunday.

Heres the base of the sniper just for some WIP shots and also because I like how it turned out

Spoiler:

(I haven't been able to afford a real camera yet)

I'm aware I'm super late, but initially I thought I wouldn't be able to compete. However, due to a turnaround, I have a few days, so here's my prof pic, hope I finish in time.

Finally got some decent progress done on the first Harlie this evening. Motley is pretty much sorted, though thanks to the photo, I see on bit that needs tidying. Onto the scarves and then the metals next. Getting there, gonna def be a painty painty weekend!!

urrgghhh - why do these photos come out so blurry? sharp as a whistle on my ipad and then here I have a choice of superenormous huge size or normal sized and blurry >< Shiibbal!

I know what you mean, guys. I've got 8 days left to completely finish my Darkshroud, and there's a lot of work remaining to be done on it.

I'm having to dash through this project to tabletop standard, so I'm not very proud of the result. I'll post pics in solidarity, but quite honestly it's embarrassing.

At the moment they look like tiny Oompa Loompas because I did green and gradient for the camo cloaks very very early on with an airbrush and didn't mask.
At this point i'm just hoping I don't forget to give them hair colour, after getting used to seeing them this way for a while.

Camo is done on the lss. Not happy with it, but I'm almost happy with it, which is good enough.

Needs a bit of cleanup, but it's done.

Quite honestly I'd recommend the Victoria Lamb Rangers and Brother Vinni Gaunt over the GW offerings, if you go for it.
The GW Tanith have a lot of... I'm not sure what the word is. If you flip them over you can tell where the sculptor list interest. Vague detailing, I guess? I'm having to fudge what is cloak, stomach or arms.
I'd love to see what you come out with so far as tattoos though.

Cool, but...what are they? They look like the Underminer from the end of The Incredibles or something.

Got Milo's cloak highlights laid down last night. Which is good because his cloak is 70% of the model! lol

Nah, if you can get them all done (and a scenic base?) I reckon your Harlies could/should blow mine out of the water!

Still, there's not many entries so far this month, so to everyone who is almost there, get painting! This could be the month you can up your rankings and grab some points!
