But if a better proof pic. NOw that I've assembled the harlies. Took a bit of doing as I wanted to change them up a fair bit. Try n give them a more dancey theatrical look. Fair bit of micro green stuffing to do tomorrow as changed pretty much all the arms positioning. Fiddly little buggers. But happy with em

That's some nice posing right there! Love the one on the left, and the master.

Hmm... what to paint... I have a Hafling Rogue I need to get done for my DnD group but would rather find something sneaky for my growing Haqqislam army. Hmm....

Cheers Para. Gave the master a zephyr glaive. I really like the one on the far right but the photo is mince. She's using a pair of swords, one going forward whilethe other is behind her.

I see the title is "Sneaky" now, has that changed?
And would a small lady trying to conceal a comically large baseball bat behind her fit the theme?

Not changed, it's been that from the start. I figured it encompassed everything 'Stealthy' does and a bit more. Such as:

a small lady trying to conceal a comically large baseball bat behind her

So yes, that's perfectly fine to enter (and not just because I'm now very curious about this mini!)

(Not my photo)

Tank Girl charity miniature from 2014. My friend's home burned down last week, and her biggest regret was not saving her Tank Girl books and art. I want to paint this for her this month regardless, but I realise it's a tenuous "sneaky".
Sneaky perhaps in that she has no idea that I'm doing this...

Ok, after a quick perusal of my collection (aka mountains of minis) I think I'll just put a lot of love into my DnD fig.

I present, for your viewing pleasure, Milo Cobbletoss!

Slayer of evil brigands and defender/acquirer of gold purses everywhere!

Damn, my phone takes good pics! I may have to use it instead of my camera. He's a little traumatized after Dremeling off his integrated base (I hate those things!) but he should paint up nice....and fast!

I'll be submitting my almost completed (80%) Broodlord, and some Genestealers for my challenge this month. My Broodlord has been almost-finished for months now. Time to get him wrapped up and get some work done on my Genestealers. I recently stripped all my old Stealers. So this will be a fresh start for them all.

Here's a proof pic before I go away for the week.

I've spent a lot of time researching the Tanith for this project so will hopefully stay true to their fluff. I've only read up to "The Guns of Tanith" book.

Spoiler:

As you can see I've gathered quite a few bits, over the weekend I've got the blue tac out and have tried a variety of combinations (I will only submit a few models since I'll use this months challenge as a bit of a tester for a large army of them). I am impressed with the quality of the models from Victoria Miniatures.

@Buttery Commissar thank you very much for the offer, I am hoping with all these different bits I should be able to put something together but will bare your offer in mind

I would like to change my entry, actually. I recently purchased and built a Ravenwing Darkshroud (mostly built, left the crew and some parts off to make painting easier), here is a proof pic:

The Darkshroud can make other things around it harder to see and target with weapons (think Protoss Arbiter from Starcraft) and therefore I think it might qualify as sneaky/stealthy. If it's ok, I'll go with it. If not, I'll stick with the scouts.

I only have the Land Speeder Vengeance weapons in the shot because I built this with weapon swapping in mind (so I can use both vehicles). For purposes of this painting challenge, I will only use the Darkshroud parts (nothing subtle about a giant plasma weapon, after all!)

My armies (re-counted and updated on 11/7/24, including modeled wargear options):
Dark Angels: ~16000 Astra Militarum: ~1200 | Imperial Knights: ~2300 | Leagues of Votann: ~1300 | Tyranids: ~3400 | Stormcast Eternals: ~5000 | Kruleboyz: ~3500 | Lumineth Realm-Lords: ~700
Check out my P&M Blogs: ZergSmasher's P&M Blog | Imperial Knights blog | Board Games blog | Total models painted in 2024: 40 | Total models painted in 2025: 21 | Current main painting project: Warhammer 40k Leviathan set

Can I be a lawyering bastard and enter the original "crawling" models on their track units?

They're totally subtle in that the massive clouds of debris they create make it hard to see them.

(Or maybe I dust off the Stealth Suits)

I think the stealth suits would be more suitable. Sounds like the others aren't really subtle.
