Finally, some more progress! It's daunting how much more time and material is consumed by such a large model. I'm constantly finding myself running out of filament, resin and paint. A go to sit down and put some work into this monstrosity only to find out I have ran out of the thing I need most at the time. But it is slowly taking form.

Really impressive work so far!

The forms and structure are coming together very nicely, and I think the 3D-printed approach is working great here. I’ll definitely keep following your progress.
(I’m also finishing a Gargant myself, though mine is made mostly from “less noble” materials (trash).

Looking forward to seeing your next updates!

Thank you! I'm a little disastified with what the black chipping looks like. I think I'll try and layer the black on top of the yellow and try and showing the yellow chipping through the black instead. Hopefully with pictures soon.

Modern 3D printing has certainly made it easier than ever to make your ork army your own. I don't think I would have every tackled something as large as this without finding stl's to print. But it feels like it has made it too easy? Because I really like those hand crafted, kitbashed pieces of garbage that turn into battlewagons, stompas and gargant. They really feel like personal pieces of creative art in their own way.

That thing is so orky. It's like a 300lb, five foot tall rugby player.
