Great builds, the gunwagon turned out great, including the alternate turrets. The new one looks very promissing.

Oh god, the rivets. The hardest part of making ork vehicles.

So many rivets...

A possible speed cheat for creating rivets - look up nail beads as rivet alternatives! I used to chop up plastic rod but switched and it saves me half the misery. Only half mind you

Oh, those look promising and for a decent price too. I'll have to look for some.

I got a lot of work done lately.

Or at least it feels like lots of work. Sculpting sandbags isn't hard work, but it's certainly time consuming. I have some liquid greenstuff somewhere, that might help add some roughness to the sandbags. If you have any suggestions for texturing fabric, I would love to use it in the future.

My inspiration for sandbags came from some posts I was reading about improvised armor for tanks. It struck me as a great aesthetic for orks. And certainly fits that mobile bunker idea. Why wait for someone to walk towards your machine gun nest when you can just role it towards the enemy?

это отличная машина. хорошее количество деталей! надеюсь увидеть - болты, гайки, цепи, скобы и шипы. тогда это будет волшебно! я всегда немного завидовал парням которые могут применить танки других фракций. желаю удачи! Waaaagh!

Thank you for the tutorial. Rolling the putty into a long sausage and then cutting it into pieces is much more efficient than sculpting them one at a time! A will need to find some nylons or rough cloth next time I make more sandbags.

And it's done. Sandbags, barbed wire and a few machine guns; a potent combo when you want a mobile strongpoint.

I'm going to take a quick break from the workshop. I need to get some models painted for a little D&D. When I get back I'll be building a bonebreaka and then, as my final piece, a kitbashed killbursta.

Here's a bare bones trukk for my boys. Decided to make it as cheap as possible and not add anything to it. Just a little public transportation.

Great truck. The halftrack look is always very Orky and those front wheels remind me of the original ork battlewagon from the 90s. And you can never go wrong with a massive engine. Engines and exhausts are like dakka - you can never have too much.

Alright onto the next battlewagon. this one is going to be a bonebreaka.

Fortunately, I found this bad boy on ebay. I've always wanted to use a land raider to make a battleagon and some lovely folks have already assembled it the way I wanted. For a good price too. I've decided rip off some of the extraneous pieces. I don't think I'll bother giving it any latrge weaponry. Maybe just a few big shootas.

I'm still waiting on the parts I need to start the front and top of the vehicle, so I have been adding a few pieces to the sides while I wait. A little bit of extra plating, like any ork would. I didn't like the gaping holes in the side so I added some chain curtains so I wouldn't have to worry about painting the inside. My idea was that the chains would help mitigate any shrapnel flying into the tank.

New battlewagon looking snazzy

I love it when an Ebay find gives you inspiration, and it kick starts a new project. Always nice when someone else has taken the first step, as like getting a welcome present, it takes something indulgent and allows you to treat yourself.

Cool eBay find, the chains are a cool addition. The Lad poking out the side door is a great fit, though he makes it look like the vehicle has come to a standstill. Perhaps swapping his shoota to the other hand so his left hand can be inside holding on to something? That might allow him to be facing forward, seeing where the hoomies are for shootin

Unfortunately I've coated the chains in superglue to keep them in place. But that is a pretty good idea...

I'll have see if I can break the bond. Time for some more ripping.

Alright, so ripping the ork out wasn't that bad. The superglue was quite brittle and easy to break. I also decided give him a big, nasty mace.

Love these. Thinking about building a Squig-Wagon to go alongside some Squig Buggies, think I'll incorporate those panels held out to the sides with chains.

The parts have finally arrived! I already had a deffrolla on hand, but I wanted a second one. So I ordered the upgrade kit from GW, not think about the shipping times. Because why have one deffrolla when you can have TWO of them?

A lot of work has been done. I'm nearing completion at this point. I just have a bit of work to do on the cupola. I have a model coming in the mail in a few weeks and I think I'll add a big shoota for the commander as well. It wouldn't be a Bad Moons battlewagon if there wasn't at least one piece of dakka.

There's still room for changes and additions, so I'm always open to suggestions.

The bonebreaka is finally complete. I was waiting for the guy on top to arrive after I ordered it from ebay. His posture looked perfect for a tank commander.

Looks like you’ve been busy. The lad hanging of the side looks really cool now and gives a bit of dynamism to the model. I’m glad it worked out for you! The other side seems like it needs something to add character to it, maybe a grot hanging on to the side or some Orks symbols maybe? The commander was worth the wait he looks very serious watching things get crushed in his rollers. They kinda look like big industrial scrap metal shredders, which are right up an Orks street! Nice work!
