So how do we all feel about the massive nerfs as of the December dataslate? I expected the Miracle Dice changes though I did not expect to see Bringers nerfed as much as it was along with additional points nerfs to the Exorcist and Castigator. The Exorcist especially hurts since it's my favorite vehicle but I know they were getting taken a bit too much competitively because of the previous points nerfs, so I expected them to go up a bit, just not to over 200 points.

Are we pivoting back to Hallowed Martyrs fully now? I for one would like to try and make Army of Faith work but now with the MD nerf that probably doesn't seem like the best route to go. I might just wait to see what the Grotmas detachment looks like and hope that the nerfs to the army were done with the new detachment in mind. Luckily I do not play competitively much anymore but I like to make my casual lists somewhat competitive to make sure they can take on all comers lists in pick up games. I may try to make Army of Faith work if the new detachment isn't something aesthetically pleasing. I got tired of Hallowed Martyrs from playing it for a year with the Index and even Bringers, as good as it was, started to get stale, so Army of Faith was something I was going to try regardless probably.

Regardless of how low we drop for the next few months as least we know that in 3 months things will get looked at again and hopefully they realize that they overcompensated a bit this time. These nerfs were something needed back in August, not now when our win rate was right around 50-51% which is usually fine with GW. Just goes to show they are once again several months behind with their balance patches.
