This is my first attempt at Black Templars list. This is for friendly play and casual games at GW/Hobby Stores. Id appreciate any thoughts or changes.

How do you plan to deploy your cc termies?

If you can't deploy them in a good postion or guarantee to deepstrike to one then I'd suggest you don't take them at 1500pts games anyway. It'll free up a lot of points to do things like upgrade your pred to an all las or tl las and hvy bltr spns. Give your dread extra armour and make it Venerable.

You could swap your storm shield in the assault squad to another marine, that way you can take an inulnerable save in cc and not lose your powerfist if you fail. Your only losing 1 s4 attack!

Crusader squad 2 should swap out its plasma gun for a melta. Plasma guns will not allow an assault move if they shoot.

Likewise swap out the cmnd sqd plama gunner for a melta it will suit the squad's role more and while your at it give them infiltrate with any points you can save (CC termies?) You can put them in decent cover or out of sight a lot closer to the heart of the enemy.

You could drop the iron halo from the Marshall.

I've found it to be an increase in points that isn't justifiable.

Just my thought an an other wise fine list.

Those are some good points.

I'll definately tweak the list a bit later.

I might drop the iron halo and use a teleport homer ensuring the the terminators have a safe landing zone, should I use them. I supose I am partial to them.

Meltas are a good idea for the mobile squads as well.

I'll look at the list a bit more, see if I can tweak some other changes.
