Hello, im writing this list for competative gaming at my local gaming nights. Comments welcome. Drop the Big'Horns on the Warboss and use the extra points you have left over and give him a Bionic Bonce, if you're going to give him an armor save, at least make it a good one; 3+ goes a lot futher than 4+ could ever hope to if he's taking wounds that don't ignore armor all together. The LD bonus isn't all that great considering the Ork mob size rules that get around LD tests.
Lastly, the Kanz need to be split up into two squads since you're not using your third heavy slot. Use one mob of two Kanz (thus they don't give up VP's till they're both dead) and get another scoring unit by having the third Kan all on its own.
It's a hoard, but you have no Grotz or Kustom Force Field Mek's (Burna Boyz or a Big Mek HQ) to give your expensive Boyz squads a 5+ Cover save as they advance.
I've played the Orks for a long time and against many Space Marine or Tau lists with decent firepower (which is any good army list from those Codex's) you're going to have a very hard time winning games.

Thanks, ive played orks since i started the hobby, but when it comes to tying up loose ends in my lists, ive never really had enough experience. I can definately see the logick behind the kans, and agree that i need more shielding. Would you think it worth it dropping a larger mob to ten and taking more shielding. Also, ive never used a looted vehicle before, is the leman russ worth it? Cheers for the comments.

You could replace the squads of 10 Orks with the Rokkits for two squads of Burna Boyz with Meks & Kustom Force Fields, but no actual burnas in the squad, it'd come out to 119 points for the squad of 10 Boyz + 1 mek (11 Boyz total) and the Kustom Force field. They go behind your normal Boyz and in front of your tank bustas to get the most out of the KFF.
The Russ is a good option, personally I prefer the Demolisher (with the Red Paint Job and the loadout as you have it, it's an extra 10 points). It's a matter of preference though, but I like being able to pie plate deepstriking terminators since they normally hurt Orks a LOT.

I play a deathskull cult list and nearly always include a looted bassie and leman russ. It might be worth playing with the russ for a while and changing it to a demolisher if you find you encounter a good deal of 2+ enemy units.
I don't know about the 10 strong slugga units, I assume you are doing it to get the extra rokkits. The fact is that 10 orks are not going to survive very long. Even in close combat and they are a poor scoring unit at that size. I never take a mob with less than 15 and most times its 20. IMHO kustom force fields are almost a nessessity to make Orks competative. Voodoo Boyz idea is a good one. I'd split the one 10 slugga unit left between your bigger mobs or add a couple of rokkit buggies. Good luck.
