Hi there,
Sir Max, I've been following this thread for a while, but I didn't feel like posting anything,
but now that your T-hawk (or E-hawk) is finished, I feel obliged to express some respect towards you.
I have no words to describe the awesomeness of your work, and the nonchalance (if I may say so) with which you seem to have pulled this off...
I was there when you started this blog, interested in scratchbuilding and stuff, and now that you've finished I must say I've been blown away by your updates, fast ans accurate.

I'm with RW on the edited weapon mount and personally think it would look better if both barrels faced the same way. For cables and stuff, you could use small tension springs to get that kind of ribbed look - possibly also to replace the green stuff? Looks a bit chunky at the moment - oh, and of course it needs rivets!

I do understand. There is too much space between them. the last set of lascannon barrels (it was initially meant to be interchangeable) had the right vertical distance I think.

I really rather enjoy how the shape of the shpilder sorta reverse mirrors the shape of the front of the dread.....
BTW, I am riveting it now. Still think it needs more detail though so put your league issued thinking caps on......

Needs (for autocannons) an ejection port of some sort.
Needs (for Lascannons) Cabling
Might need: some sort of targeting optic.

not bad. It could use some more rivets, and a little more detail. (name scroll/plaque) purity seals, etc.

Yes, the general look is good and the layout looks better, but needs a little more something, Rivets of course but something else.
As to what I am at a loss, space marines aint my thing so I am the wrong person to help, but i do feel it needs more.

the vents look cool...and the amodrums looks very good...
the whole thing tho makes me want to make you redo the left "arm" too... for now it looks unbalanced...if you do a housing for the other arm similar to the one you did now it looks symetric again...this needs to be done asap!^^

I agree that putting the ammo cases both on the side was the thing to do. I was thinking it and then looked at the photo below and well.. You got there before I did.
I agree with Vik that you should do something to the other side to ballance it out. I think that currently it is way off ballance but the custom arm is Way Cool!
I think some cables running to the body into the ammo/ batteries and some cables running to the base of the barrels would flesh it out alittle.

I think some cables running to the body into the ammo/ batteries and some cables running to the base of the barrels would flesh it out alittle.

How does a Dreadnought reload those cans????
Does he have to stand around empty and wait for an ammo-bearing servitor? Or does he have some kind of reloading arm?

Yeah, if those are lascannons, shouldn't it have a battery and power cable?- Those seem like autocannon ammo drums...But I suppose they could be batteries, they just need cables.

Oh, yeah. they are autocannons. The lascannon barrels didn't feel right yet but these were feeling better to me.
This is just a design master. I intend to reverse it for the other side for twin twin-linked auto cannons.
I will also plasma and lascannons so that each arm has a version. stay tuned.
