So far in the last 2 games I have played with my World Eaters, they have not done well.  A 500 point game and a 750 point game just does not do this army justice.  Even bare bones'ing my troops doesn't help.

So far this is the list that I fielded.

HQ:
Lord - 60
Power Wpn - 15
BPistol - 1
MOK - 10
Bionics - 5
Talisman of Burning Blood - 10
TOTAL - 102

Troop:
CSM's (8) - 112
AChamp - 0
Chaos Icon - 0
MOK - 40
Pistol and CCW - 0
TOTAL - 152

Troop:
CSM's (8) - 112
AChamp - 0
Chaos Icon - 0
MOK - 40
Pistol and CCW - 0
TOTAL - 152

Heavy Support:
"Shread"nought - 75
2 CCW's - 15
Smoke - 3
TOTAL - 93

I added another dread and a 5 man unit of bloodletters to help reach 750. I also gave the dreads extra armor and Talismans to the AC's in the Berzerker squads.

Does anyone have a way to make the World Eaters better at lower points?  Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

When my friend and I play he usually goes with like 2 units of Berserkers with the Mark, and Feel No Pain (really good at keeping them alive!), a unit of Bloodletters, a Lord, and uhh I think that's it (around 500-750 point games). He really likes to use a Bloodthirster sometimes, but I think he shouldn't (though at low points games it's really hard to kill!).

His biggest problem is he doesn't get into CC until ~ turn 4.....

On the other hand he tears gak up when he does! And since he makes great use of cover, he can usually avoid shooting from half my Necron army during the first 3. (I'd advise maybe a rhino or two to rush a few units in to tie up the enemy as your other ones try to blitz across the board)

A berzerker glaive and Feel No Pain combined with Stature will make your lord very cheap and very tough to kill in a low point game.  Give him essence and a collar of khorne, and just let him go!  Avoid S10!  In this low of points, he'll be pretty unstoppable.

The regular berzerkers themselves cannot be given equipment from the armory, so they cannot have Feel No Pain. The champs can though!  Also remember that in this low of points, you can just run your marines with no mark and maybe infiltrate.  Let the Lord and the dread or pred do all the work.

Khornate Chainaxes rock! Also don't forget the frag grenades. They will save you a huge headache when you have to charge into cover. Powerfists on champs work good.

A dreadnought with 2 CCW's is about worthless, because when he fire frenzies, he usually will have SOMETHING in range to shoot with his combi-bolter, so he'll stand still. I always give a dread a decent gun, like an autocannon or lascannon, so at least when he fire frenzy's he does something interesting.

A predator will serve you very well for anti-tank.

This is what I would take for 750

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

750 World Eaters

Demon Prince with MoK, Stature, Essense, Feel No Pain, Berzerker Glaive, Collar of Khorne and Frag Grenades (156)

8 Berzerkers (188) Free Aspiring Champion with Powerfist and ToBB, 'zerkers with Khornate Chain Axes and frag grenades Mounted in Rhino with Smoke and Extra Armor (58)

8 Berzerkers (188) Free Aspiring Champion with Powerfist and ToBB, 'zerkers with Khornate Chain Axes and frag grenades

Dreadnought (160) with Twin Lascannon, Mutated Hull and Extra Armor

 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Another trick would be to run two cheap lieutenants with Demonic Speed and Lightning Claws, and then have them run towards the enemy while your 'zerkers and dread attempt to draw fire.
