I think you need more HTH. The autarch alone won't cut it.

Also, if you are going to go with fire prisms I would go with all 3. You have to count on at least one being unable to fire per turn.

Vipers ain't so hot anymore.

No specific suggestions other than that. I have a 1750 list that I am have been experimenting with an dit seem sto b edoing well so far.

best of luck

Why would you go with all 3. I think the point of running one is the fear that if you get that template to land and if they play stupid you are going to nail a really expensive squad for no work on your part. Thats my philosophy, I run one, in tournament play its been marginal as a shooting platform but much better at firepower soaking so the rest of my stuff can do their job.

I do agree that a single autarch isn't enough h2h. However fire dragons in a transport is almost always a good call. While I wouldn't run 6 vipers, at least outfit them with scatter lasers or starcannons or brightlances or ELM's. Basically you want long range so that you can shot but not be shot, and anything that'll hurt a 3+ armored model is golden. What I see is list tailored to beat some horde armies but against the elite low model count armies you'll have a heck of a time getting draws.

This list is pretty darn nice man. Seeing as your grand total of points vulnerable to HTH is like 400 I don't think I would obsess over having more HTH.

The autarch might be better with a reaper launcher to help him finish off units.

The vypers while I understand their purpose might be better off being ganked and replaced with a tiny squad of storm guardians in a waveserpent.

I just played in a tournament with a similar list. It was 1850 and instead of Vypers I had a squad of Banshees in a wave serpent and a squad of Spiders with a warp-pack Autarch. The only other difference was my WS weapons (2X Bright lances, and 1X Star Cannon) and 1 squad of Dire Avengers were a CC squad with PW & ShimmerShield + Defend. I did well (except a game versus a Witch Hunters army with Inducted Guard where I had my worse dice game in 5 years), and the concept stood up.

The CC Avengers are a great way of locking down devastors, or holding up a squad until the Banshees can charge. I prefer a shooting style way more than CC, but it is advisable to have countercharge support. I wouldn't take only 6 Banshees in a Falcon though, with S3 and no Doom, you need all the attacks a full squad can give.

I've stop using Bladestorm, but mainly due to my poor dice skills. I actually use the points towards defraying the cost of my Bright Lances. Your mileage may vary.

The Autarch is okay in a friendly game, but shines in tourney play. This past tournament used Strategy Rating, and made great use of Reserves/Escalation. Plus he accounted for 2 Leman Russes single-handedly (once with Fusion Gun, once with Haywire Grenades).

The Bright Lances, while expensive, are great on WS b/c of TL (wow, how lazy was that sentence). My BL WS accounted for two more Leman Russes, a Predator, and a Defiler.

Vectored Engines on my Serpents saved my expensive DA/Banshee squads more than once. They're not worth it on a Falcon or Prism though (pretty expensive to prevent a result that occurs 1 time in 18, assuming Holo Stones)

I like running two Prisms, but I only combine their shots very, very rarely. You'll be amazed how effective 1 Prism can be vs. a squad of deep striking Terminators. The key is using terrain (which of course is critical for any Mech Eldar list) and range to isolate targets and prevent return fire which can shake it. The point is I am beginning to think that 1 Prism will do, and I'm thinking about dropping one (and the Banshees) for another Falcon with a squad of 6 Harleys.

Its worth is debatable because of cost, but a Fire Dragon Exarch with Flamer is a great investment if you have the points. Makes the squad more versatile vs. light infantry and light vehicles.

Anyway, I think you have a solid list, I just wanted to pass along my experience with a similar list.

1 in 12 actually, and I still think it's worth it. In at least half the 11 games I played in Adepticon this past weekend, I still had a live falcon sitting on the ground shooting away for a couple of additional turns.

Because people tend to target the falcon with the harlequins first, and often don't stop shooting until they get a real result, that falcon tends to get immobilized regularly. In 2 of 11 games, vectored engines saved the harlies from being crippled by a crashing falcon. In one game the harlies then went on to hold up the center of my army for half the game (while the falcon itself finished off a bloodthirster), in the other they disembarked, wiped out a unit of terminators and a bike-mounted daemon prince. Wouldn't have been possible without vectored engines.

yeah i have thought of dropping the vypers for some spears to guard the exarch and give a little more counter charge

should i give vectored engines to any of my vehicles: falcons or wave serpents?

ive thought of changing the wave seprent weapons but because they are non-scoring i dont want to put to many points in to them(also why no vectored engines) and i think i have enough tanks with the autarch, dragons, falcon, 2 prisms, and for right now the vypers work well at getting side shots

what upgrades do you recommend for prisms, im unsure if they both need holo fields

this is my first eldar list(still proxying models)so any help is appreciated
