I'm not sure if it's been addressed anywhere in the book or FAQ's, but I find it unlikely that techmarines can have a servo harness and a jump pack

I did something like that but it was for a techmarine squad serg, it was only a single servo arm but that was hard enough to do. The only thing i can recommend is do a lot of mock-ups and experiment with ideas. Altho, I dont see why you would want a jumppack techmarine, they are good enough on a bike

You could have the servo arms look more like those Inquisitor tech magus mechadendrites, or have the arms of the harness be an extension of a limb, maybe one each sprouting from the knee/elbow joints.

You could try using the 'arms' from the Arco-flagellants as his servo-arms... You could probably fit them between his back and the jump pack. As for the plasma cutter and flamer... I don't really have any good ideas for those.

There isn't anything in the rules about a jump pack and a servo harness not being compatible.
Also, this seems like a scratch build type of project. It'll be easier in some ways because you wont have to restrict yourself by using existing models. Doc Oc tentacles could work, and they'd certainly save room. However you should try and think outside the box on this one. Instead of two giant jet engines on the back, why not a series of smaller jets mounted to the legs with one larger engine in the center of the back. Or to save room on the back, mount the servo arms from a heavy belt or have one piece jut straight out of his chest.

yeah, a tooled-up mega-techmarine isn't going to have a boring old standard jump pack, so either custom build a wacky jump pack with servo arms on its side, or give him some other sort of flying gear (e.g. ant-grav skateboard, robo-cherubs, whatever) that 'count as' a jump pack and still allow the standard servo-harness to be used

How about about a conversion where you take the bottom of a Necron Destroyer and the waist on up of the Techmarine? You might need some plastics for the torso and stuff, but you could greenstuff the remainder so that he has all of the servo arms and stuff.

I've taken 2 jump pack, shaved them to fit back to back use some fiddly bitz to fit. Use a buckler to connect the marine body to the construct. add all the arms you want. looks good too

( I have this image in my head which I'll try putting in words which might not work that well...)
2 Sevro arms are sitting on top of the jet-pack ( on on each side ) The 2 Powerfist-like are on each side of the other 2 sevro arms, but attached to the side of the Jump-pack rather than on top. You can have the gripping the ground like Octopus in Spiderman...

Here to possibly save you some work...
The latest Space Marine FAQ from GW states clearly that a techmarine can't take a servo harness and a jump pack (or bike). You can have the standard servo arm and a jump pack (or bike) though.
If you don't care about the rules and are just interested in modeling it, then go for it!

Well, I guess someone should mention this. This kit combination will almost certainly be totally illegal when the space marine codex gets revised (whenever that is). So keep that in mind.

Crap, you're right. It was in a list of questions someone from GW (forgot the name) answered on the forums before they shut it down. So those were good rules clarifications but not official. So carry on with your converting However I don't see the techmarine being able to do this in the latest WD Blood angel codex (could change before print), and am guessing it's not possible in the DA codex either (could use some clarification). If this is true, I'm guessing the next SM codex release will follow suit, which could be years down the road.
