So I've started goin green... like seriously I saw my local Dokter, but he just shrugged and offered me a Bionik eye.

Anywho, here is a list of Orky Pirates that have honestly been begging to be made real since I started BFG like 8 years ago! So here is the list:

Strategy wise, the two Trukk mobs either hold up the enemy until the big mobs get stuck in, or support them after they have, or sieze objectives. The Boss sticks with the big mobs and provides a mob-up point, and the Tank is mobile fire support.

A more mobile list could tear me apart, but at only 1k pts I think I'll be in the clear. I know that two 21 man mobs probably isn't great, but I really wanted the looted Russ otherwise I would have had 3 smaller mobs.

Any suggestions/help?!

A pretty good list for 1000pts. Drop one truck boy from one fast unit and attach your boss to the unit. Dump the ammo runts, a gob from the truckers who are gonna ride with the boss and the red paint from the russ. This gives you 26pts to buy a power claw for one of your mob nobs or truck nobs. I also might dump a nob from one troop mob as there is little point in taking a champ without taking some gear.

To be honest, that would have me gibbering with fear against my Guard, or really, most any army kitted out to take on the common mean lists (Marines in a Pod, Tau or Eldar in a Shell). Because those lists concentrate on packing in the plasma/melta/las firepower, your big mobs could surge ahead without too much serious mauling, and if you hid your trukks until the last minute, they could survive to attack as well.

Suggestions: find points somewhere to give your Mobs of sluggas nobz with klaws -- then they can't be so easily tarpitted by a dreadnaught/wraithlord/etc. If possible, switch out the Russ for a Russ Demolisher -- moving is no big sacrifice for and Ork force, and then it can help screen at least one of your Boyz mobs. Also, try to play missions with good forward deployment....how many turns you have to spend moving under your opponent's guns will help determine whether this army wins or loses.
