The plan is for the Farseer to be in one of the wave serpents and will cast guide on the dire avengers followed up with Doom on the enemy squad.  Fire prisms will take care of armor and provide mobile death.  Rangers along with the Guardins will secure my table quarters and provide some support fire at range while the Dire Avengers and Scorpions get close and cause trouble.

I don't know how well 2 fire prisms work wit the whole feel of alaitoc. But that's just me.

I would also consider chopping up the rangers into 3 squads of 6. Drop the guardians and get some pathfinders.

i agree with the other poster, maybe drop the guardian squad for another ranger unit. also farseer doesnt work too well in wave serepents. he cant cast if he starts the turn in a wave serpent. its a good list, however not very "Alaitoc"

Agree with dropping the Guardians.

While your Farseer is mouinted, he can't give any support. I'd suggest a jetbike so he can doom the enemy while your DA's are still mounted.

I hate to be the one to have to tell you this, but you can't cast psychic powers from inside vehicles.

I hate to be (at least) the fourth to tell you this, but you can't cast a power while you're in a transport.

It's a well-themed list, but I worry that you have insufficient antitank and mobility. The Fire Prisms are good, but there's only two of them, and the scorpions are the antithesis of mobile.

I'd be inclined to put the Farseer on a bike, and get some more mobile HtH unit. Either Shining Spears or Harlequins, most likely. Warp Spiders would also be pretty good, as their actual HtH power is minimal, but they put out of LOT of short ranged S6 firepower, and the Exarch with dual spinners and Withdraw (powerblades options) allows them to get out of HtH and do even more shooting.

Thanks for the reminder about the farseer. Damn my forgetfull whiskey filled mind, I was toying with the idea of putting him on a jetbike. If I drop the guardins I should have enough points to throw him on a jetbike and take a 5 man pathfinder squad.

What would you guys recommend to make the army more Altaitoc like. I would like to stay away from Falcons and warwalkers just aren't mobile enough for my taste. Granted they can throw down a horrendous amount of fire and always start on the table.
