I'm curious what you've got planned after these. I think you mentioned having desert fighters in the pipeline and there were the fallschirmjagers as well. I'd love to see some WWI British types or some modern/near future PMC bits. A generic tactical vest torso, some ballcap/headset heads, and SMGs would be awesome.

Of course. But, there's no tac vests, only one head with ball cap and headset (in the spec op head set), and no SMGs.

The Renders look good. I suppose they do look a little less bad guy-ish fully assembled.

I like the designs, but the heads are far too big. They look like dwarves.

The big head thing is an issue that comes from being in Heroic Scale.Trust me though, their heads won't be that huge in hand and the overall proportions will look just fine. I've got a full set of the Danamians and they're great. People complained about the same thing when their renders were put up, but in hand, their heads look fine.

I think you're right, there is some more room in the catalog for some straight up PMC parts. I'll put them on the list…

Awesome news! I've had a hankering for some modern/near future type stuff, so I'll be eagerly looking forward to those bits.

Starting work on next years list of releases. I've decided to give you guys an opportunity to suggest some things. If you have suggested something in the best, it might be best to put it here again. Everything is being considered at this point, not just guard-centric bits. That includes new regiments, races, even vehicles, or whatever.

Just remember that there are no guarantees on anything. Let's hear it

Specifically riot troops. You might be able to make them modular so torso, legs and heads can be the same but have different arms for shotguns, rifles, shields and mauls etc...

A sci fi version of a Kettenkrad could be pretty sweet. For those who can't see the image, the idea is basically a halftrack motorcycle, basically a forerunner to the UTV that the German military used back in WWII for hauling light guns, supplies, and personnel.

Heres a suggestion for next year, generic robed models. like the darkangel robed figures just not in powered armor. legs would be one piece torso another and a cowed head. these would be perfect for sob priests chaos cultist and infantry for mecanicus along with uses in other miniature games

also sets of head that represent the characters in the G. I. Joe universe a set of cobra trooper heads, viper heads, crimson guard heads and the generic Joe helmeted heads

I will second the calls for riot troops and generic robed models.

Also, a gentle reminder of the 'relaxed pose' arm and hand sets discussed on pages 20 and 21 of this thread.

Zombies have been done to death. I second the call for robed figures. More stuff that can be used for inquisitor warbands. More relaxed arm poses. More vehicle commander poses.

You could call the riot troops "Armoured, riot, battle interdiction troop, emergency squad' as an acronym like Swat or ETF

IG sized shoulder pads

Special weapons.

Some 'action' leg poses like the soldiers are moving forward using 'duck walking'. Basically new leg poses.

Different types of helmets like world war 1 british pot helms, ww2 US, Russian, etc hats, etc. Commisar caps.

Perhaps capes and overcoats (made to look like capes but would work with commisars?)

Some sentinal alternatives like armed jeeps.

Artillery crew, a generic command/leader arm/leg set

I mentioned these before, but I'll mention them again:
-legs wearing puttees - these would be good for doing some WWI style guys.
-WWI/WWII pan-style helmets with gas masks
-a generic tactical vest with pouches pre applied
-a new head series wearing ball caps and radio headsets.
-an SMG style gun. Maybe a space MP5
-in the vein of the riot stuff people are suggesting, I'd like to see heads in riot helmets with visors up and down.
-I'd also like to see some heads with modern style tactical helmets with gas masks.

EDIT- forgot to mention..
-at rest bits. More relaxed leg poses, possible some sitting down. Arms holding non-weapon items like beer bottles, wads of cash/playing cards or books. Include at least one pair of arms lighting up a cigarette
-A sci-fi looking open topped jeep would be kind of neat. Include a mounted Danamian style LMG on the back of it.

I second generic artillery crews with head choices for themed armies. Its hard to find shell loaders !

I'm not after Riot troops, but they might cross over nicely with a range of future SWAT / Special Forces / Private Contractors ?

Another vote for not-Arbites. Would love some for 'munda.

I'd love to see female variants of the Colonial Defence Forces and DaNamian jungle fighters.

I think an Arbite range would be well received; a full sallet style helmet and variant with lower faces exposed (male and female) would be fantastic and popular. To my knowledge no one makes them whereas some of the suggestions put forth are already made by one or more companies.

Guys, wow...thanks for the great response so far. I am gathering up all of these ideas, seeing what can be done to get them in the pipeline.

I am in dire need of not steel legion or even just there heads and lasguns in the style as seen on the real steel legion figs. noise marine heads like the old metal figs that had a speaker in place of the mouth

Yeah, Javin has good instincts, a number of those things are already in the works

I think we better call a plumber........ because the pipeline at Steve's place is looking pretty full, if it burst we may lose some good ideas.... :-)
