You do know that grenediers can't DS, right?

Aside from that, you've got some good things going for you.  However, you have too many men/points in the veteran squads, the armor seems out of place in an airborne regiment and you seem short on men.

Thus, my advice:
cut the anti-tank squad (+110)
cut the vets back to 75 points: 5 men and 3 special weapons (+48)
cut all of the grenediers (+240)
sponson heavy bolters from the russes (+30)

Total: +428
Add:

command w/3 flamers/58
infantry squad 1-heavy bolter/flamer/76
infantry squad 2-heavy bolter/flamer/76

Oh, and another thing that you could do is to combine the 2 small platoons, cut one of the command sections, change the weapons to heavy bolters/flamers for the entire platoon (minus the command) and add a third dropping vets squad (probably plasma...).

I dunno...I don't think the list is in need of such a dire revamp as Ether_Dude suggests.

Starting from the HQ:

I do agree with him about dropping the anti-tank squad. While additional lascannon are nice, they are an expensive, juicy, and fragile target when deployed that way. Find a way to give some flamers and an Honorifica to your JO. That last gasp can pay off.

I agree with your suicide vets -- you could reduce them to 6 rather than 8 men each, and you could definitely drop the vetsarges. 8 men can give them a 'second chance' if they mis-drop and scatter, though, so that's really up to you.

Those Grenadiers squads are excellent -- they make fun-tacular Marine killing units, just be sure to keep them hidden and alive until they can rapid fire. Since Grenadiers can neither deepstrike nor infiltrate, I've usually been a fan of giving them Chimerae to hide in / behind -- this also increases the number of hard choices about where to focus his anti-tank weapons your opponent has to make. You don't have the points for this at the moment -- I assume you'll just be deploying the Grenadiers as part of your gunline? This can be effective, too, I'm just curious.

Your platoons are bog standard. Which is good. Sometimes I've found Autocannon/Plasmagun to be more effective, but this depends on your metagame. Bringing 4-6 lascannons to the table thus spread out should be sufficient at 1500, unless someone shows up with a really maxed-out list.

Russes -- three russes in 1500 is very nice. You could consider swapping one out for a Demolisher, but this isn't essential. You could also put hull lascannons on them for a "just in case" back up -- Russes are so durable that they pay off as adaptable weapon platforms.

Good list -- I'd like to see how you change it. Forward, into the teeth of the enemy, treads rumbling, for the Emperor...

Some comments:

1) Why no standard for the HQ squad? 11 points for a re-roll is very nice.

2) If you are using Drop Troops, why not lose one of your other doctrines and add Special Weapon Support Squads. These can be very nasty deep striking attack with a Demo Charge and some flamers.

3) Since you have all of those melta-guns deep striking to do your anti-tank work, you probably don't need all of those lascannon. If you replace the lascannon with missile launchers that will net you a pretty good amount of points, and missile launcher is just as good at killing Marines.
