Warwalkers are a fine stand in if you hate grav tanks.

I find them to be an effective source of firepower as well as iron and vitamin B12.

Mech Eldar is a very viable and powerful army. That said, I can't see why an army of Eldar tanks would appeal if you hate Eldar tanks.

You could always do Vypers as they are not tanks. Mobile firepower they do supply but on the fragile side of things and just as survivable as a DE raider.

Wraithlords do nice in the thoughness department and can fire 2 heavy weapons on the move always and at toughness 8 it will take some dedicated anti-tank firepower to kill a wraithlord and if you keep it in terrain you got a chance to bounce off some lascannon shots. The cons are they are not as impervious to weapons fire as a Falcon/Fire Prism and not as fast.

War Walkers come with scout, access to multiple weapons, and are walkers. The downside is they are somewhat costly and are even more fragile than vypers. They also suffer from the speed issue but if you open fire on a target, make sure it cant fire back.

A Mech Skimmer army is what is now the 4th Edition Rhino Rush is.

one favorite is the all melta toting squad fire dragons IIRC

What is better for HS FP or Falcons?

depends on what you want it to do

falcons can have more shots, prisms have better BS and ordinance

What is good on falcons?

non forgeworld variants-spirit stone, holo field, vectored engines, pulse laser, scatter laster, shuriken cannon.-9 shots S6 or better with some AP 2/tank kiling power and upgrades to keep it allive and moving.

I hate eldar tanks, is there somethnig good to repalce them with?

thats sad since they are the best tanks in all of 40K closely followed by the tau

that being the case if you want torrents of fire-squads of war walkers, the afore mentioned vipers or wraithlords. thats about all you got for mechanized of you don't want the tanks.

Sorry, but mech eldar means lots of Eldar Grav Tanks. No two ways about it.

You can do heavy firepower Eldar without the tanks, you can do super-speedy Eldar without the tanks, but you can't do a mech eldar list without them, pure and simple.

That said, your best layout for the leanest, meanest mech force is probably:

2x Autarch or 1x Autarch / 1x Farseer. Autarchs accompany squads, Farseer must be biked.

1x Decked out Harlie squad

1x Aspect squad -- I would suggest Fire Dragons, as they're a cheap one and don't need an exarch.

4x Maxed, Exarched Dire Avenger squads with Serpent transports. How you arm them is up to you -- but Bright Lances are a wee bit expensive for my taste.

2x Falcons with all the trimmings, Scatter Lasers, Shuriken Cannons.

Any extra points can be used for Jetbike squads with a Spearlock, more Aspect Warriors, Vypers, or some fast movers like Hawks.

I meant i don't like the LOOK of eldar tanks, Also on non forgeworld tanks? do forge world falcs get something different?

Also i would like 2 farseers or farseer plus warlock on jetbike so i can doom and guide to anihalate any squad I'm bladestorming terminator or not. Also I would like a psychic power to make sure my DA or Elite squad doesn't get obliterated on the turn after they shoot.

yes

they have an AAA variant(similar ot what the tau skyray does) that has 3 long rangte scatter lasers(12 shots! ) as well as a couple other variants. they are legal to use without permission except when a tournament organizer doesn't want to alow them as per the rules given by GW.

hehe and the look of the eldar tanks and the new war walkers are about the only things in thier army i like o

 

 the leanest meanest mech force to me is a tank force.  at 1850 that is 6 serpents with a 5 man dire avenger squad in each all with spirit stones, vectored engines, TLBL, shuriken cannon. 3 falcons set up as mentioned previously and a farseer with a couple pieces of wargear. your killing power(and victory points denial) is in the tanks. your troops only get out/expose themselves on the last turn, when the tank is destroyed/immobilised, or to take objectives.

If you don't like eldar tanks-why don't you make your own? Take whatever concept you have, make sure it is approximately the size of the requisite eldar vehicle, and go for it.

Yeh good idea but I'm not good a modeller for round things. I'm more of a straight person but curved is good too but really hard to make... And how can you get 6 falcons?
