This is another revision of an Alaitoc Stike force.  Its 1850pts.  I'm hoping to have this completed by Adepitcon next year.

HQ Farseer  Runes of Warding, Guide, Doom, Singing spear, Spirit stones 138pts

Or

Autarch   Swooping hawk wings, Mandiblasters, Power weapon, Fusion Gun   120pts.

Elites

10 Striking Scorpions  Exarch, Scorpions claw, Shadowstrike  207pts

Troops

10 Dire Avengers  Exarch, Power weapon and Shimmershield, Bladestorm  162pts or Defend(177) with Autarch

Wave Serpent   Twin Linked Scatter Laser, Shuriken Cannon and Spirit stones              135pts

10 Dire Avengers  Exarch, Power weapon and Shimmershield, Bladestorm  162pts or  Defend(177) with Autarch

Wave Serpent   Twin Linked Scatter Laser, Shuriken Cannon and Spirit stones              135pts

6 Rangers     114pts

6 Rangers     114pts

6 Pathfinders  144pts

6 Pathfinders  144pts

Heavy

Fire Prism    Shuriken Cannon, Spirit stones, Holo Fields, Vectored engines  190pts

Fire Prism    Shuriken Cannon, Spirit stones, Holo Fields, Vectored engines  190pts

Total  with farseer         1835

Total with Autarch        1847

Not really sure if I should take the Autarch or the Farseer.  It would be hard to free up the points to give the Farseer a Jetbike.

Thanks in advance for all advice.

I'll take a Whisky, some more Whisky and a Chaser of Whisky and a diet Coke.

Vectored Engines make more sense with transports.

I would give the Dire Avenger Exarch the defend ability. After they bail out, they will bladestorm the hell out of the enemy. The Defend ability gives your unit a far greater survivability if they get assaulted next turn.

The winged Autarch will be on his own, all the time. Consider adding some Swooping Hawks.
Therefore, I opt for the Farseer, dooming a unit that the DA take under fire.
Give the Farseer a jetbike so that he can use his powers effectively.
Instead of large Ranger squads take small Pathfinder squads, more kills.

I have edited the list above.

OK I've added another squad of Pathfinders and dropped the rangers down to 6 man squads that still leaves me either 10 pts shy with Farseer still not enough to take a Jetbike. With the Autarch I can give both DA squads Defend and that puts me at 1847.

Well, 5 men Ranger/Pathfinder squads are sufficient. This frees enough point to give the Farseer a jetbike.

A Farseer is redundant in an army which is not relying on, say, Doom,
e.g., units with high strength weapon (Fire Dragons, Shining Spears when charging, Spiders, Vypers, Falcons) or rending weapons.
But if you play Avengers, Doom becomes vital.
