Trying to decide what I should bring for a 2.5k 40k game of Space Wolfs Vs Dark Eldar, debating if I should bring as much Long fang goodness or a few Contemptor Dreadnaugths, decisions decisons is indeed hard

I've block painted four of the seven 'Cross Of Iron' miniatures I prepped a couple weeks ago, and put a Space Marine in Dettol paint stripper 'cos I'm not happy with its paint finish.

It's almost 1 AM and I'm still painting the last squad I need for a tournament tomorrow morning.

Actually getting some painting done with my firestorm armada ships, my goal for the weekend is to finish the 4 sgians and 3 threax.

working on my first ever commission and trying to convince myself to put some paint on a scraped together missile marine.

Base coating some Warrior Monks. Put my main Samurai to one side for a little while I work on slightly easier models. Hoping my painting improves enough that the lacing is a little easier to paint.

I put together this nice display cabinet. Good motivation to finish some projects.

Finished trimming and mounting the last four models for my first two DZ strike teams. Since it's already midnight and my little one likes to get up earlier than I do... probably gonna spray about half of them tonight and finish masking the bases for the other group tomorrow. Got my scenery tiles indexed too, so I should have an easy time constructing more building subunits when I get back to that.

Tomorrow, I may organize my hobby/office room and move some stuff around. Trying to condense space enough to fit another 2'x4' piece of MDF (one of the four subsections of my adjustable game surface) along one wall next to another one. This will give me optimal display capacity for my growing collection of finished models and terrain.

I might be packing up my gaming stuff and moving again.

Have a family member redoing their basement into a mother in law apartment, and it sounds perfect for the GF and I. Better than the alcoholic roommate we have now (who is nearing rock bottom)

Today I discovered first hand the havoc 40k's casual use of LAtin names can have. In a Latin class, the teacher wanted to show us a particular item carried by a Roman Lictor (attendant) would carry.

3 seconds later, and a swarm of Tyranids invaded the screen. The reaction from the rest of the class and the teacher was hilarious.

Also, the word Carnifex (executioner) also came up in the text we were studying, and I was half-expecting a repeat incident.

I had the Plague and Enforcer teams done already---only my terrain pieces were still bare plastic. That ended today

finally got around to starting the building process on my mountain king......feth attaching all the chains and gap filling is going to take a while

I recombobulated my office/hobby/study to allow space for mounting a second 2x4' piece of MDF. Now I can have up to 4 2x2' deadzone mats out to display my growing collection of terrain. Also got the crazy ancient window fan of death (seriously this thing weighed in at at least 40-50 pounds, severely lopsided, I think I've moved easier oldschool televisions...). When it's warmer, I'll put a boxfan in that same window to serve as a cheaper answer to the airbrush vacuum station thingy.

All this did keep me from painting more, but It'll be nice to have such a large display area.

Kept on painting miniatures from my copy of Battle Cry, and started rebasing 15mm WWII miniatures.

I am painting up some Tundra Imperial Guard. Colours are white armour with thorn green cloth.

Modifying the barrels and adding scopes to the rifles. Got some stuff from Forge World as well.

Really enjoying how they are coming along even though there are a lot of them.

I will be putting them on a rock and snow base. Will be posting some pics up when I get some finished.

Played a hilarious Khorne CSm vs Nurgle Daemons 1500 pts game.

The centre of the table had an uninhabited FOR and a pair of vengeance batteries (minigun edition)

The miniguns treated bith sides as hostile, so shot at the end of each player's turn at closest unit.

We had a unit of nurglings popping Icarus shots at everything they could, and khorne cultists manifestly failing to figure out the mysteries of the Missile silo targetting system...

Fun game

Work on my Mordian Kill Team list some. I am going to order a couple special weapons blisters, may order some Victoria Minitures peices so I can work on a Sentinel. Then I am going to try to paint another Mordian before moving onto other things.

Learning how to do faces using an Eavy Metal guide I saved to my Ipad a while back.
