OK, Armor for a Dark Angels Chaplain is black, we all know that, but my question is if I put him on a bike should the bike be painted Black, or green?

Black.

All DA bikes are black because of the unique chapter organisation of the ravenwing etc.

however , black model on a black bike would look a bit black and dull , so there is always some bone clolr robes to break it up a bit

Whichever way you prefer.

The 3rd edition Revised Codex introduced Dark Angels bikes that didn't have Ravenwing designation. The Chaplain is also an individual and could paint his bike bright pink with polka dots to better reflect his faith in the Emperor if he wanted.

Similarly, his armour doesn't need to be all black - you'd just want to incorporate some black elements in it.
