Any tips on adapting those resin obliterator legs for use on terminators? I have a few sets of the legs and they are all hunched. Don't want to ruin them trying to straighten them.

I agree, noise marine conversions 10/10 execution 11/10 for chaosy-ness.

There are a few big claws in each box.

Should i buy white extra fine milliput or is the regular milliput ok.

Ie. which color of milliput do you buy.

Pretty sure the chest plate is a Talos faceplate in the middle with s Screamer head split in half on the sides of it.

I'm back. I've been on a bit of a hiatus from the hobby, not really feeling inspired, and being busy with the band, and doing a bunch of other stuff. However, I recently got this idea in my head, that an Obliterator, finding itself in the favour of a chaos deity, could become a Daemon Prince, just like a lord or a sorcerer - with this in mind, and having recently read Storm of Iron, I got the idea to make such a character, as the leader of my army - thus it begins:

(as usual, this is WIP - lot's of greenstuffing to be done, tweaks, etc., but as always, suggestions and comments are appreciated. )

There are so many awesome little elements in it. I think my favourite part has to be that left arm. The use of the tyranid parts works really well at demonstrating the constantly changing nature of the Obliterator virus. I can totally see this guy ripping guns off of tanks and absorbing them.

A truly fantastic model, Rasmus! Amazing work! As for the legs, the upper legs are from the fiend kit, right? The lower legs are actually parts of the fiends head, as far as I can see. And the feet are part fiend hooves and part Maulerfiend fingers...you're really putting the fiend kit through its paces there...

But how did you make that head, I wonder?

Btw, did you get my PM a while back? You now have a namesake in my army

Absolutely correct, we have a winner! The lower legs are indeed Maulerfiend heads. Good eyes, cookies galore for you.

The head is from the fantasy crypt horrors kit, this in particular:



... Cut down, scraped, and the ears and nose removed, plus a bionic eye added.

Seriously, though: I actually remembered your DG Dreadnought being featured in WD, and your name was published with it. I was fairly lucky too that all you three gentlemen has names (or at least usernames) that were reasonably easy to adapt for use in a World Eaters army

I've only had the chance to look through the few most recent pages of this thread and my mind is blown. After spending a few months without doing any modeling or painting you've got me itching to get back to the workbench.
