Greetings Eldar and Tyranid players, I am looking for the members of Dakka to put together a task force or two and do battle against the Imperium of Man (oh and the each other as well!)

The campaign is a faithful retelling of the invasion of hive fleet Kraken from its initial stages all the way up to the battle for Ichar IV. The campaign pack includes all the details to really get some fantastic Tyranid conversion ideas together.

The campaign is being advertised in White Dwarf in June so I'm giving you the heads up rather than have some of you miss out. The event is for adults (well, ages 16+) and if you are looking for an excuse to have a great weekend of Warhammer 40,000 and a chance to look around the citadel miniatures museum and have a drink in Bugman’s Bar then September the 1st and 2nd really can't come quick enough!

This would be a great way for you to all meet up together for a weekend of 40k gaming as well as a chance to enjoy a really unique event just about you six-limbed guys!

Warhammer 40,000 Campaign Weekend
Date: 1st & 2nd September 2007
Venue: Warhammer World, Nottingham
Age Limit: 16+

Details: Before the Imperium can fully recover from the first terrible war against the dreaded Tyranids a new hive fleet, more terrible than the first, sweeps across the domains of mankind and the Iyanden Craftworld.

You will need a 1500 point Tyranid army and a 750 point Combat Patrol or Boarding Party (see campaign pack for details). Tickets are £45 and include six games over the weekend as well as lunch and dinner on the Saturday and a Sunday lunch.

There are some significant changes to much of the pack (including the addition of a seventh game over the weekend). Please thoroughly familiarise yourself with all of the sections. Pages which might appear to be identical to those in a previous version of the pack may still contain some key changes.

Every page has recieved some kind of tweek or update from the version released in May.

Its too late to change anything now, but if anyone spots an error or a poorly explained rule, please let me know and I will comple an errata and FAQ to be circulated both online and sent to the players before the event (if necessary).

Oh, and because of the speed in which the Imperial tickets sold out we have managed to convince the powers that be to free up 6 more Imperial Guard tickets under the mysterious title of The Brotherhood.

The Tempus Fugitives have done an amazing job with it. Very inspiring stuff.

It has convinced me to take Hive Fleet Ouroboros there for it`s very first serious outing.
